This Broken Society

Who knew?

That someone so quiet was so emotional

That someone so loud was so delusional

They always try to keep to themselves

They need attention from everyone else

Did you know?

That someone who seems so normal could be so insane

That someone who is so crazy would seem more behaved

They have unmentionable thoughts drawn in bloodstains

They are just misunderstood and always out of place

I didn't know

That someone who is skinny has so many problems

That someone who is fat there's nothing really wrong with them

They open the door of self consciousness and gives them a warm welcome

They live this life with no worries and embraces the true freedom

We never would have known

That someone whose straight always expressed so much hate

That someone whose gay has so much bottled up pain

They always seem to have that one endless predictable trait

They don't know how much longer they're shoulders can handle this weight

Who knew?

That someone so smart always finds themselves feeling so useless

That someone so dumb always seems to work so hard at it

They do have a lot of knowledge, but also a lot of nothingness

They might fail once, but they choose to never give up and quit

Did you know?

That someone who chooses to be the bully, is really beating up themselves

That someone who is the victim, is always afraid to ask for others help

They only know how to use their fists of rage, which are always swelled

They only know the feeling of being scared, everyday it is always felt

I didn't know

That someone who is so strong, is also so sensitive

That someone who is so weak, is always so protective

They always know that when someone they love, is hurt, it's so effective

They always know that when someone they love, is in danger, they have to get defensive

We never would have known

That the people in our lives, could be so different, or so much alike

Keep the ones close to you alive, always keep them apart of your life
