Chapter 12 | the worst happening ever
After they entered that place they were talking, I couldn't hear them well at first but then I have heard a little bit of what they were saying
"Take this" Someone said
"What! That was not our deal!" Noah replied
The door was closed and I couldn't see what they are doing
"You know that it's very expensive and you did not give me enough money" The same person said
"I won't take this, I don't have much money to give you" Noah said
"That's not my fault! The dealer told me that the money I gave him can't buy more than this" The same person replied
"Dealer? Am I in a nightmare?" I said to myself
I saw a window that I could see what they are doing from it
"What is he giving Noah? I can't see well" Whispering to myself "Oh my God DRUGS! He is giving Noah drugs! Oh my Gosh! What will I do now!!"
"I will take them, but I don't want this to happen the next time" Noah took the drugs
"Just give me enough money and then complain" This person replied
I hid until Noah left, I took a taxi and went to home
"Camila why you are looking at us like this?" Asked mom
"Noah is not here, tell us what you did" Dad said
"Um" I did not know what to say
"What's the matter?" Mom asked again
"I'm gonna tell you what I saw, but please don't-" I said
"Don't what?" Dad asked
"Don't heckle" I said
Mom became afraid before I tell them the truth
"Hey Kate, you will fall apart before you know what happened!" Dad said
"Just tell us, what is Noah doing?" Mom half shouted
"Okay, I saw Noah taking something from his friend" I said
"Something like what?" Dad asked
"Like--" I did not continue
"You are worried and making me worried too" Mom said
"Noah was taking drugs from his friend and he pays money to a dealer in order to give him them" I spoke very fast
A brief awkward silence ensued
"Camila is this April's fool?" Mom asked
"But we are not in April mom! I am talking seriously" I said
"You mean medicines right?" Asked Dad
"You both don't believe me, Dad if Noah is taking meds why will he take them from a 'dealer'? I replied
