Chapter 10

Pounding heart

I am just one of a hell ordinary on this rotating earth, hindi gaanong pinapansin at nakatuon lang sa pag-aaral. But my world just went upside down, ever since these two guys bugged me.

Azure just went to our place and is now holding my hand, while staring at Ajic. It's like a deja vu, the same situation we had in their first encounter.

Azure is holding my hands not so tight hold. And still, I don't know if I will pull my hand back or what. Because of these two, marami nang bumaling sa direksyon namin. Naririto kami malapit sa bungad ng gate kaya naman marami pa ang tao rito. I am really fed up.

Maraming bulungan na naman ang naririnig ko, ngunit itong dalawa ay tila walang pakialam sa mga tao.

Parang naistatwa na lamang ako rito sa kinatatayuan ko. Hindi ko alam papaanong aalis sa posisyon na ito. Azure please, take us outta here.

"Tara na Mariz," madiing salita ni Azure, mas lalong tumaas ang tensyon sa dalawa.

We gotta get out of here Azure.

At mas lalo ding umapaw ang bulungang may love triangle kuno na namumuo among us three. Doomed. The linked girl to Azure is finally discovered.

Marahan akong hinila ni Azure papalayo and I let myself get dragged by him, I once looked at Ajic, wala naman itong reaksyon. He's staring at us blankly. Stoic.

Ang mga istudyante naman ay nakasunod rin ang titig sa amin. I looked away at tumingin sa direksyong tinatahak namin. Thank goodness, the students didn't follow us here.

Tahimik naming nilakad ang daan papunta sa parking lot. Pagkasakay naming kotse ay agad niya itong ipinaandar.

Nabalik ako sa ulirat at nagsimulang magsalita, "Azure, kilala na ako ng mga estudyante as your someone.. so, baka dahil doon magkaroon na naman ng commosyon at--"

He cut me off, "There's a way. It's if I will announce to them that we're on and I will prescribe them not to bug you."

Is he damn serious?

"Naririnig mo ba sarili mo? Hindi mo makokontrol ang tao!" I exclaimed.

"I can Mariz," he blankly spoke.

I found myself covering my face with my palm dahil sa sinabi nito. "Not because you have fame, you can manipulate them." Mariin kong sambit rito.

"I am not to use my fame, I have my way to surely protect you," napaangat ang tingin ko rito nang sabihin niya iyon.

This is not my first time hearing him saying something off. But this time, there's something going on here.

How come did he manage to speak like that? And what is his purpose for protecting me? First and foremost, he's one to started up this kind of shit to me in our university.

Nang narating na namin ang apartment ay mabilis akong pumasok sa loob upang magpalit. Mamaya ko na siya kakausapin about doon. Certainly, Ajic and Azure are giving me a headache.

"You're such a good girl! ikaw nalang ang natitirang reasonable sa paligid ko," I said while tapping her head.

Tila wala itong narinig mula sa akin, pinapakain ko ito ngayon dito sa sala ko.

Kahit si Sushi lang kasama ko, atleast she's giving me relief despite of my stress. Pagkapalit ko ng damit ay siya namang pagkawala ni Azure. I don't know his whereabouts now.
