Hayce's POV
I was watching t.v. when my phone went off. I got a text from Beth. Dinner was in 10 minutes in the lunch hall. I didn't want to see how they would react to Damen. I sighed and got up to put on a purple tank top and black sweater and a pair of jeans. When I finished getting dressed I froze. Damn it, I forgot he was in here. I turned around slowly and saw him starring at me wide eyed and his mouth open.
"Get dressed. We have to go downstairs to eat in the formal hall." I said. He closed his mouth.
"What's that?" He asked.
"It's the place where we eat dinner, when we eat lunch there we have to wear uniforms. Breakfast and breaks we usually go to the café." I said. He got up and walked to his dresser. He grabbed a gray tshirt and dark jeans. He unbuttoned his jeans and took them off and showing his boxers, which was all he was wearing. I gasped and narrowed my eyes at his back. He turned around and grinned at me. He winked and I clenched my fists. I knew he was doing this on purpose, but did he have to be so good at it. He pulled on his shirt and then I turned away and grabbed my mascara. I put it on and waited with my arms crossed as he put his jeans on. I was walking towards the door when he came up behind me and grabbed my waist. I jumped and turned around.
"Sorry, I don't know why I did that." He said walking towards me. He backed me up into the door and was inches away from me. I looked into his eyes. He was starring at me and then at my lips. I slid over.
"We should go." I said as I turned the doorknob. I could feel his breath on my neck. I opened the door and walked down the hallway. We were already late. I waited at the elevator with him next to me. I shuddered when I thought of everyone starring at us when we walked in. On our way there I was deciding whether or not I should go. I could leave him to go in alone. I kept walking and didn't turn back.
We walked in and at first no one looked, then everyone started talking and looking. I felt the warmth of his hand touching mine. I looked down, he was holding my hand. I looked up at his face and he was smiling.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"I'm helping you, Hayce." He said.
"Do you realize what people are going to think!" I said.
"Whatever, I'm having fun right now. Your cheeks are pink, you are so embarrassed." He said with a laugh. I glared at him and walked over to the table that Beth was sitting surprised. I sat down across from her and Damen sat next to me.
"So what's up?" I asked.
"Nothing." She said.
"He's new here. The headmaster did a favor for his parents and now he's my roommate." I said. Once she was caught up she was herself again. She was talking about her classes and how I missed the hot new history teacher.
"I think he's my new tutor now." I said.
"Your getting a B." She said.
"My mom."
"Oh. I wish I was you. He is SO HOT!" I laughed. I licked the straw of my milkshake clean.
"Well, I'll be seeing him after classes a lot." I heard Damen cough next to me.
"Are you going to introduce me?" He asked. "I don't know anyone and I wouldn't want to befriend the wrong people."
"Beth, this is Damen." I said.
"Hey." She said. We went back to talking and Damen listened because he nothing better to do.
