The one (Ruel fanfic) {ON HOLD}

I woke up on the sofa the next afternoon. The tv was still on but it wasn't playing anything as the movie I was watching had finished. I moved the pizza box from beside me and stretched out before getting up.

"Where the fuck is my phone" I muttered

I eventually found it down the side of the sofa and turned it on. It was 1 pm and I was meeting Ruel in an hour

"Fuck me, why do I sleep so much" I groaned

I texted Ruel the address of the park and went to go shower so I didn't smell like shit after practically sleeping on a pizza.

When I was done, I threw on a pair of royal blue Adidas sweatpants and a white thrasher crop top with my favourite sneakers. My Nike Air Force 1s. I grabbed my phone and my card and headed out. It literally took like 10 minutes to walk there and it was 1:45 so I plugged in my headphones and walked slowly.

When I got there I sat on the swings and waited singing along quietly to my music.

"Somebody told me that you had a boyfriend that looked like a girlfriend I had in February" I sang softly while swinging

"Boo" a voice shouted behind me

I didn't even flinch and turned my head to see Ruel

"Wassup pretty boy" I smirked

"Come on what the hell" he pouted, "you didn't even flinch"

"I don't get scared" I shrugged

"That's such bullshit" he said, "everyone's scared of something"

I thought quickly

"Mmmm not me" I shrugged

"I smell bullshit, bullshit, bullshit" he shouted

"Excuse me young man"

An angry mum walked up to us

"I have two young kids and I'd appreciate it if you didn't swear around them, I don't want them picking up on your nasty habits" she spat

I snorted as I watched Ruel turn bright red

"I'm sorry ma'am" he said quietly

I laughed properly when she started walking away after throwing me a nasty glare. 

"Oh shit" I laughed, "I'm crying"

I wiped tears from my eye as Ruel scowled at me

"I'm glad you found that so funny" he huffed

"It was fucking amazing" I cried bursting into another fit of giggles

They stopped when I ended up on the floor

"The fuck" I said looking up

Now it was Ruel's turn to laugh

"You looked so fucking confused" he laughed

"Shut up and help me up asshole" I muttered

He didn't stop laughing but stuck his hand out for me. I took it and pulled him onto the ground with me

"Payback bitch" i sneered getting up

"I don't even care" he laughed from the floor, "I'm quite happy"

"Whatever" i said rolling my eyes

My stomach rumbled and I realised I hadn't eaten all day

"I'm hungry" I moaned

"Didn't you have breakfast" Ruel asked getting up

"No" I mumbled, "I got up too late"

"Too late!" He exclaimed, "what time did you get up?"
