Praise:

Finding Orion is a CIA movie on paper. Action-packed, cunning, and filled with right amounts of blood, this book will draw the attention of any reader looking for a fast-paced story to sink their teeth into. All that action and mystery gets you flipping the pages and, before you know it, you're running out of chapters! So hold your breath and dive right in! ~Gear

Thrilling! Grabbed my attention from Chapter 1 and had me reading with eyes wide open! The moment I read about Jason's hospital scene, I knew this was going to be one hell of a ride! I would say tone down on the number of exclamation marks you use, but the story in general is fast and furious. Although some of the clues that Delilah noticed didn't ring with me, I believe this book has a great deal of potential! Can't wait to read until the very end! ~Mary

The HOPES Project by avadel

Grammar: 9

Cover: 10

Plot: 8

Total: 27/30

Praise:

The HOPES Project makes use of super-human abilities so naturally that it becomes something that you can visualize. Using simple words, multiple perspectives, and the constant thrill of a chase, avadel crafts an adventure that is hard to put down, laced with humor, daring, and of course abilities. The near-omniscient point of view creates a well-rounded story suitable for a TV show! Once you read, there's no stopping. ~Gear

Exciting and tense. You'll find yourself rooting for the protagonists from page one. Gunfire, bombs in buildings, train hopping, and a load of other stunts had me holding my breath and widening my eyes! Jason and Rachel's journey brings out their characters and their witty humor, complimented by Ana's interesting and almost psychic point of view. Although I believe there are instances where some scenes warrant more description that just a single action line, the story itself is riveting. I hope to see more abilities in the future! ~Mary

They Know Me by MaddieBrinn

Cover: 9

Plot: 9

Total: 28/30

Praise:

They Know Me dives deep into the supernatural world and has readers rooting for Ashe every step of the way. With humorous dialogue and detailed descriptions, MaddieBrinn has created a very believable world full of diverse characters who each have their unique persona, speech, and ideals. In other words, this book scores high in character development, setting the scene, and plot engagement! Hauntingly perfect. ~Gear

Teaming with detail and suspense, MaddieBrinn creates an adventure following a determined girl on a supernatural ghost hunt. The setting of the story, Mannix, may seem like a small town, but so much happens there after dark. I found myself in the comforts of Rhys during the day and eagerly waiting for Zil or any ghosts at night. It feels like Harry Potter going back to Hogwarts. Each night is its own adventure, with main character Ashe learning something new every time. With a story like this, @MaddieBrinn doesn't disappoint! ~Mary
