SodyDaisy, Tennessee: Three Months After The Event

"No please no more please!" the man screamed dragging himself away from the rat unable to use the leg were it had bitten him. Timothy Fitz smiled as he urged the rat towards the man by putting hungry thoughts in its head. Suddenly the rat lunged forward and sank its sharp teeth into the man's soft neck as he screamed noooo noooo n.....uaaaullla......" He stopped abruptly his body going limp as the life drained out of him. Timothy hadn't ment to do that, he'd lost focus. This made him angry. He hadn't had time to enjoy the maylay of the community being over run. He had come to enjoy the initial attacks on the communities he and his men had raided since escaping the prison. This time though the rats had been to hungry, the men to bloodthirsty. The killing had been over to quick for him to savor the moment.

Timothy had thought all was lost till they had found a small band of survivors hidding in a kitchen pantry while he and his men were looking for food.

He allowed his men to have the groups women while he took care of the rest of the group. He would get to the women later if there were any left.

He'd missed his first attempt to satisfy his sadistic cravings by losing focus allowing the rat to kill to quickly. He wouldn't this time" who's next" he said more or less to himself as he surveyed the group of terrified men before him.

He noticed a peculiar thing about an old man amongst the group. This old man didn't have the same terrified look of fear on his face as the rest of the men. "Him" Timothy had said pointing at the old man. He would teach this old man to fear him as he'd taught everyone else over the last three monthes. The men brought the man forward and threw him down in front of Timothy. The man just stood there calm and quite. "Well, do you have anything you'd like to say before you die" Timothy said hoping to get some rise of emotion, some pleading, or maybe some begging. "No" the man said resolutely. That left Timothys mouth hanging slightly ajar, everyone begged, everyone pleaded. "Nothing, well we'll see once the rats have you" Timothy said as he snickered at the man. False bravehood didn't impress him, the man would scream like everyone else. He didn't notice the defiant gleam in the old man's eye, the blade sticking slightly from his sleeve, or the impeccable fighting stance the man took. No Timothy Fitz knew about none of this as he sent his rats towards the man.

Before he knew what was happening two of his rats lay dead. The old man killed the third as Timothy realized what was happening. "Stop him "he commanded his men." Stop that fool" he cried calling more rats as well, filling them with rage. The man was doing quite well dispatching rats as well as men at first but was soon over run by the overwhelming numbers. Suddenly the rest of the men surged forward grabbing weapons of Timothys dead men from the ground. They killed men who hadn't noticed them coming from behind.

No one knew they had been planning this, no one seen the young boy escape in the midst of all the chaos. The boy was ment to run on to another community down the road to warn them. These men knew they were going to die, atleast it wouldn't be invane.

Timothy had lost track of the old man only to find him suddenly in front of the him. Timothy called for Morty. There was a flash of fur and the man went down but not before flinging his blade. It almost missed Timothys face but dug in as it sliced the side back across the ear splitting it in two.

About twenty of Timothys men died in the battle. Most died because of the rats blood lust. The men would get cut, the rat smelled it, feeding commensed. All of the men but two were dead. One of the men who had attacked Timothys men from behind, and the old man still penned down by Morty. Timothy had the rats mutalate the men. It over joyed him at first to hear the one cry. That was short lived because the old man impossibly held his cries. Timothy became so angry he lost control and the rat finished him off quickly. This made Timothy became even madder but not as mad as what came next.

"Boss, the women escaped!" one Timothys men exclaimed. The boy had the took time to break them out before he left. By the time Timothy became was done with the two men they had gotten to Lake Sody and onto a children's pool inflaitable.

When the rats followed there trail to the lake shore the raft was well out into the water.

Timothy gave up chase unsure if his rats could swim that far out and make it back.

This had been a bad day for Timothy Fitzs.
