I arrived at his house and it was pretty! The yard was colored with flowers and a little fountain was next to the stairs. I texted him telling him I was here and got out of my car.
I walked up to his door and I was about to knock, but he opened it.
"Oh hi" I said putting my fist down.
"Hey sorry I just got your text" He said and let me in.
"Wow your house is nice" I said.
"My mom does most of the work but thanks" He said.
"Dani come play dollies with me!" A little girl said running up to him.
"Leslie I can't have a guest over" He said and the girl turned to me.
"Wow you're really pretty" The girl said gawking at me.
"Awe thanks so much but you know who's even prettier!" I said bending down to her level. "You!"
She giggled "Whats your name?".
"Makenna. But you can call me Ken for short if you'd like"
"Oh like how I shorten Dani's name?!" She asked excitedly.
"Yep!" I smiled.
"It's nice to meet you! And you can call me Liz" She said and shook my hand.
"Okay" I giggled.
"I'm sorry Liz but we have to work on our assignment" Daniel interrupted.
"Awe! Will you play with me after?" She asked us.
"Of course we will" I said and Daniel sighed.
"Okay!" She said happily and skipped away.
"My rooms this way" He said leading me up to his room.
"You didn't tell me you had a sister!"
"You never asked" He said sitting down on his bed.
"So why did you want me to bring my song book?" I asked.
"Oh yeah!" He said getting up and grabbing his guitar.
"Are you gonna play for me Dani?" I smirked.
"P-p-princess" He said referring to my name.
"Welp I'm gonna call you Dani now" I said sitting next to him.
"And I'm going to call you princess forever".
"You already do!" I sassed.
"But now I will forever" He said and started tuning his guitar.
"Pfft whatever! You're wife in a few years won't appreciate that" I stated.
"Oh she won't mind because shes you" He said smirking.
My heart froze and our eyes we're locked together. The butterflies in my stomach were going crazy and I felt like he could see right through me.
He cleared his throat "anyways we're gonna play together" He said taking my song book.
"Hey! No we're not! You can play but I'm not! Now give that back" I said angerly.
"Sing" He said.
"N-no"
"Sing!" He said holding the book in the air.
"No!" I yelled.
"Then you won't mind if I just open this u-"
"Fine! I'll sing with you but it's not like I wrote cords for guitar to go with my songs!"
"Pick a famous song" He said.
"I don't know" I sighed.
"I'll sing with you" He said cringing.
"Wait... You sing?!" I asked.
"No"
"But yo-"
"I don't sing well!" He chuckled. We'll find out.
"How about...Over and Over Again, by Nathan Skyes? I asked.
He smiled "that's a really good song"
"Okay" I sighed.
He started to strum and I got really nervous. What if he hates my voice or I voice crack?!
His part was coming and I'm super excited to hear him.

I starred at him in awe because his voice is amazing and he hit the notes so well. Oh shit it's my turn.

The song ended and we sat there smiling and starring at each other.
"You sound amazing!" Daniel said.
"Me! Dani you sound fucking awesome!" I said and he chuckled.
"The way your voice harmonized with mine was like.... Magic" He said.
"It was magic" I said and we leaned in closer to each other.
We were about to kiss but his sister knocked on the door. "Hey Dani are you guys done yet?!
"Not yet Leslie" He sighed.
"Okay" She said and walked away.
We both looked at each other and burst out laughing.
About 5 minutes later we decided to go play with Leslie and then I went home. I can't believe that actually happened!
