I called Chris then August and I were on our way to the hospital.
" What the fuck happened to him!?" I yelled
" He had a asthma attack " Brandon said
" Where was his pump at? I sent that shit with him Brandon "
August grabbed my hand and I snatched it away. I'm beyond pissed.
" August don't "
" Brandon where you watching him? " I added
" Of course , we were all playing by the pool and he dropped and started having trouble breathing "
" Where was his damn pump!? " I asked again
" Inside , we weren't thinking " Honest added
" Damn right " Right now I don't give a fuck about anything but my son
" Ariana , listen ta me everythang will aight. And Ya don't need to be stressed out. Ya havin anotha baybey "
" Who is the mother of this child? " the doctor asked
I stood up and walked to the bed where my little man was laying. Then Chris ran into the room with Simone on his side. I don't really care about them right now it's about Maurice.
" Is he okay ?" I asked
" He's fine , he could've died but he was brought here just in time "
Even though that was somewhat good news I was still down. " He could've died " still is stuck on my brain.
" When can he get out ? "
" Tomorrow , we have to run some test and make sure he's stable enough to breathe on his own "
" Oh , okay Can I talk to him "
" Of course , I'll be outside so I can you some informational papers " he said as he took his gloves off and threw them away.
" What happened ? "Chris asked with tears in his eyes
" He had an Asthma attack "
He rubbed his hand on his jaw and closed his eyes
I heard Simone mutter " Terrible Parent "
" This is not the time or place to be doubting my damn parenting skills. I advise you to take your hoeing ass back home "
" Chris you gonna let her talk to me like that? " Simone said
" Simone baby please just sit down" Chris said to Simone as he held her hand.
" Okay " she said
" Maurice , I love you baby " I said as I stroked his curly mane.
" He ain't dead Aria " Brandon joked
" Shut up your the reason he's here" after I said that he shut up
I pulled a chair next to his bed and grabbed his hand. I got comfortable and started drifting off.
I was woken by August trying to pick me up. His scrawny ass can barely lift up Maurice. I couldn't do anything but laugh
" What tha fuck ! " A scared August yelled , I guess I scared him
