My life couldn't be better . August and I are doing good. Chris hasn't been an asshole lately. He's being a good father.

I went to the door , once I opened it I didn't see anyone there. I was about to close it but I noticed a blue shiny box on my welcome mat. I picked it up and shook it. Don't judge me.
I shut the door and headed back to the living room where August and Maurice were watching Spongebob. Maurice is always watching this or Cars.
" Who was at tha do' ? "
" No one , it was nothing but this box "
" Presents !!! " Maurice cheesed , reaching for the box

I say on the couch next to August and started peeling the bow off the box. I was kinda excited. I love presents. Maybe it's from August.
I was so excited , I just put my hand in the box without looking. Bad idea , I felt a pinch on my fingers. I snatched my hand out and saw blood pouring out of my index and middle finger.
" What tha hell ! " August yelled as he snatched the box from me.
" Mommy! " Maurice yelled while pointing to the blood on my shirt.

" Kay " he said as he ran to the bathroom.

I couldn't even say anything. I trying to think of someone who would do this to me. Drew but I haven't seen her since the court day. I don't think what happened between us was that serious. Or was it ?
Shad's POV

I picked up this book that Kamari gave me that had Aria's address , phone number and the place she works. She didn't give me August information but it doesn't take a damn rocket science to find that shit out.
