I woke up the next morning well-rested. I noticed that Taehyung wasn't next to me, so I just assumed he went to the bathroom.

I got off the bed and put on my shoes and jacket. As I was about to get up and leave, Taehyung came in with his regular clothes on and looked perfectly fine. 

"Oh, you're finally awake. I brought you some coffee and a bagel" he tells me as he sits down.

I grabbed the coffee and bagel and thanked him. We talked for a little bit and just waited for the nurse to bring his discharge papers. "So, how's your relationship with Da-hwan?" He asked me, while he played with his fingers.

"Oh it's good, he's actually one of the greatest guy friends I've ever had," I say.

Taehyung pulls a shocked expression, leaving me confused. "I thought you two were dating. I saw you two kiss at the festival" he said all confused, which made him look so cute.

"No, we're not, and we kissed because it was a heat of the moment thing. But I uh...do like him a little" I chuckled out. 

" Wait so you guys are just friends?"

All I could do was laugh and nod. His shocked face was so cute, it made my day. After a while, the nurse comes in and gives Taehyung the discharge papers. When Taehyung is finished we leave. 

I didn't know how to feel around him anymore, it's not like my feelings changed but it was just weird being around him again. "Ok, so Imma go home now," I tell him as we exit the hospital.

"Hold on now, l-let me take you out for breakfast fast," he told me. 

I took his offer, as I was still hungry. He had ordered a cab and we drove to a nearby diner. 

we got inside and ordered our food; as we were waiting Taehyung started speaking. "So do you have a date for the school dance next week?" He asked me, I shook my head. "No, I don't, but I probably won't be going" I sighed. 

"Why's that?" Taehyung asked with the most genuine look in his eyes.

 I just shrugged my shoulders, "I don't know, I just don't want to."

After a while of waiting, we finally got our food. After we finished we went to a park and just hung out. I had a nice time, and he convinced me to go to the dance. Once it became night, Taehyung took me home and we said goodbye. I missed us hanging out, I really did have an amazing day.
