Lost Girl (Voltron Fanfic)

"Why are you so scared to hurt us? We're on opposite sides." Lance says

She looks over at Lance as she shakes her head.

"You guys have my brother on your side." She starts "You also have Pidge and Keith."

"Just those three then?" Lance asks

"No. I care about you and Hunk as well. But I'm not afraid to fight you guys. I fought with you all the time in grade school Lance." She says

Hunk takes that as an opportunity to shoot at Nat as she quickly calls up her shield. The blast bounces off of the shield, back towards Hunk as he ducks.

"That shouldn't do that." He says

"My Lion is the very spirit of Voltron. I can do a lot of things you guys can't." She says

"That's why you should be with us. Not against us!" Pidge says

She looks towards Pidge as she sighs, lowering her weapon as I can see the walls starting to go down in her mind.

Lance takes aim and it hits the cloak, ripping it off of her shoulders. I look at her armor and see the purple on the shoulders but the one difference that hers has from the rest, are the little stars, the color of all the other lions.

"Nat, her armor..." I say

"What about it?" Lance asks as he looks at me

"Look at the spots on the shoulders in the purple," I say

I watch as the others look at her shoulder pads and Pidge gasps.

"She has all of our colors," Pidge says

"We need to be careful," I say

"That was already the plan," Lance says

I watch as Lance goes in for a hand to hand fight but Natasha just looks at him funny and blocks his first hit and twists his arm behind his back, knocking his knee out from under him and lands on his stomach.

"Ow..." I hear through the comms

I turn towards Pidge and Hunk as Pidge goes to throw her weapon towards Nat as Nat wraps her hands around the cable and throws it towards Hunk.

"I'm sorry Pidge." I hear Nat say

Pidge and Hunk fly into the tree, ending up tied to it. Nat turns towards me, her bayard pointed towards the ground.

"Don't make me." She says

"I don't want to fight you either," I say as I hold my hands up

I walk towards her as she stays in one spot and her katana disappears along with her bayard.

"I didn't want to hurt you guys." She says

"I know you didn't. But you knew that it was coming." I say

She looks at me as her bayard shows up again as she studies me.

"Yeah. And look at me and you." She says

I feel my hand wrap around my bayard as it starts to form the sword.

I watch as she brings hers in a defensive position. I bring my sword down as she blocks it and throws me away, hitting me in the side as I wince.

"You two don't need to fight," Allura says as she comes running over

"What do you want?" Nat says as she looks over at Allura

"I want to ask you a few questions." She says as she stops by the trees, holding her hands up

"Why would you want to ask my questions now?" She asks

"I want to ask you if you know what this weapon does." She says

"I know that it's used against Voltron," Nat answers, folding her arms as her bayard disappears

"Do you know what it does to the Paladins?" Allura asks

"W-What do you mean?" Nat asks, her eyes showing confusion

"This weapon, if it's at full power, which this piece will make it capable of going full power. This weapon will kill the Paladins." Allura says

I see Nat as she looks at the ground as she shakes her head.

"He wouldn't lie to me." She says as she looks at Allura "How do I know you're not lying?"

"Before you give the piece to whoever you work for, ask them what this weapon is really capable of," Allura says as she hands her the piece

Nat slowly takes it out of Allura's hands before she goes running out of our sight.

I look at everybody as they are slowly starting to meet up with us. I walk over to Shiro and offer him my hand.

"I forgot that I taught her that." He says as I pull him up

I laugh as I look towards the direction that she ran off.

"Did you really just give her the final piece?" Lance asks

"No. It's a fake." Allura says as she holds up the real piece

"She'll figure that out," I say

"Not before she gets the chance to question who she works with," Allura says
