(3rd POV)
"Pleeeeese Dib I'll clean everything up after it's down" (Y/N) was pestering Dib trying to get him to do a pool party, he had just got his large pool filled up and (Y/N) wanted to get a small group of friends to swim. "No (Y/N), remember the last get together?" He seemed to shiver at the thought. (Y/N) gasped loudly "it wasn't my fault YOU summed the undead!! Also I was the one who had to help you fix YOUR MESS!!" Dib rubbed his neck sheepishly, "yea,ok, you got me there." (Y/N) smirked "you never did thank me for it." They smirked wider, "how about you thank me by..." They leaned closer to Dib's ear and whispered "by letting me....... use your pool!!!!" Their voice went higher by the forth word. Dib groaned, "fine only because you helped me with the other party." (Y/N) cheered and ran out of Dib's site, probably to go tell people and get a swimsuit.

(Y/N) was so excited they had texted a butch in people about the party, the only person left to tell was, Zim he didn't have social media, so I tracked to his house down the street. As I reached his large purple and green house, I gulped I knew the gnomes where watching me Zim had taunt me about them, Dib had also showed me a spot where the gnomes couldn't get someone.

I had reached his door and knocked loudly, I was greeted with Zims robot parents, they always scared me. The mother bot was first to speak "how can I help you young (wrong gender identification)?" I was irritated but I went with it "um, hi I'm here for Zim?" They both just started at me, they seemed to shut off. I took the opportunity and walked between them into the house I looked around and saw Gir sitting on the couch watching the evil monkey show. The robot parents had at some point went back to their closet. "Hey Gir, do you know where Zim is?" Gir just deadpanned to me slowly, and shot from his spot and clung to my side, I yelped and tried to get my balance back, but I failed and fell back with the small robot hugging me. Zim must have heard me and Gir rolling around in the ground and came up screaming, "GIR WHAT IS THE..." his voice cut of, realizing it's just me trying to get out of Gir's death grip. "Gir let the human go." Gir squealed and ran off into the kitchen. (Y/N) giggled, "hey Zim." Zim just stared at them. "Hey Zim, hellooooo." Waving their hand in front of his eyes, only for it to be slapped away, "don't come near me filthy earth scum." They just shrugged the commitment off and continued with conversation. "Dibs having a pool party and I was wondering if you want to come with me?" (Y/N)'s eyes shinned in the lights, Zim was confused, he has never been asked to come to a 'pool party.' "Hmm human.." "I have a name ya know, use it." "(Y/N), what is this pool party you speak of." Taken back they explained "where you swim and hang out with friends," (Y/N) paused "what normal people do." They smirked, they knew he would come of that was brought up. Zim lite up and stood to alert "Yes Zim is normal so I will accompany you to this 'party.' (Y/N) cheered in victory, "sense you didn't know what swimming is you probably need a swim suit, which in luck I was going to buy a new one anyway." Grabbing Zims hand and they started pulling them towards the mall.

They had finally reached the doors and pushed them open to the glorious place called the mall. Zim was nerve about all the people but (Y/N) walked in like nothing "you coming Zim?" They called behind them. The first store they went in was crazy busy so they both skipped it and decided to try another store. As they went in (Y/N) spotted the swimming suits for men and women, they raced over with a Zim hot on their trail and started lookin right away. Zim just stood there, awkwardly, (Y/N) glances over and sighed, "you want help looking for a suit Zim?" Zim looked down and nodded softly, smiling softly they looked and found a so many different trunks for Zim and shoved him into the changing room. Zim was a little pissed he was pushed and being forced to try them on. Zim kept complaining as he tried on the different trunks but soon came out in a nice pair of flamingo trunks (anyone get this reference I love you) "they look nice Zim." He shrugged and went back in and changed back into his other clothing. He soon emerged from the dressing with a devils smirk, "sense you got to pick my suit, I get to pick yours." (Y/N) turned bright red, "o-ok Zim, but nothing to revealing." Zim quickly zoomed away from me and picked out a swim suit. (Choose one and of you want you can add a black shirt to the swim trunks or a cover up to the swimsuit)

(Y/N) never came out to show Zim they just made sure it fit and walked to the cashier and paid.

The party was about to start soon so Zim and (Y/N) headed to to Dib's house. But one popped into (Y/N)'s mind 'doesn't Zim burn with the connection of water?' They shrugged, guess we'll find out if he does. They snorted slightly trying not to laugh. Zim looked at them judging them slightly. They both kept walk until they reached Dib's house. They headed to the backyard and was meet with the many people that where invited, few people glanced at them and a few smiled towards (Y/N)'s direction, completely ignoring Zim. She was dragged away from the alien and pushed into the house by Gaz to get dressed. Dressing quickly into the outfit Zim picked, and walked out. A few people stared at them, it was weird seeing your own skin.

(Y/N) POV
I walked out of the house I could feel a few people staring at me I never showed my skin I was usually wearing pants and a hoodie. I walked over to Zim who was some how already in his suit. "Ready Zim?" I asked linking our arms together, pulling him to the pool, Zim seemed to pull against me but failed, we both reached the pools edge, I looked at Zim and winked before letting him go and jumping into the pool, before I hit the surface I did a small flip. A few people gasped and some awwed. I remerged the waters surface to see a awestruck Zim "you coming Zim? Or you to chicken?" People around us oohed at this statement, Zim rushed back and ran to the pool only to trip last minute to face plant, into the pool, his skin made contact with the water and made a horrible slapping sound. (😏)

Everything went quit no one spoke and the music stopped we all waited for something to happen, I started to eat worried, but before I could go under Zim emerged from the water and gasped, it was quite again and then everyone cheered. No idea why. I giggled and splashed Zim "you scared me, I thought you didn't know how to swim and was drowning." Zim chuckled and splashed me back "won't be that easy to get ride of the all mighty Zim!" I just rolled my eyes to this and started floating on my back.

Me and Zim stayed around the pool for hours but soon we where tired as all hell, getting out and dried off  laying in the cool grass and looked up. I watched the starts dance while Zim just sat next to me looking at the other people still partying. He let out a sigh and laid next to me. "What's wrong Zim?" I questioned he just turned his head away from me. I pulled his face towards me  "Zim what's wrong?" "Today was a lot of fun, and I just wanted to thank you for making me feel normal, feel honored." I laughed at the last part for a second he didn't sound like the Zim I knew. "Your welcome Zim, I had a lot of fun with you today." I cuddled close to him while he freezes, but soon wrapped his arm around me and hugged me. "Before I forget," Zim started speaking, "what where you laughing about?" I thought for a second "I was just wondering if you would burn because of the water but the chemicals in must alright for your skin." I reached up and booped his nose and giggled, I snuggled back into his chest and soon feel asleep to the thump of his heart.
