Gir x Reader

(Y/N) POV

Sighing as I finished the final page of my book, setting the book down on the small side table. Standing up from the soft chair that had held me for many hours on end while reading. Hearing all my bones creak, was very satisfying. Looking at the grandfather clock hanging on the wall and saw it was almost midnight. "Man I was reading for 3 hours but, it was worth it, the ending was amazing!" Setting the book I'm it's right full place on the shelf and heading upstairs to head to bed, but doing all my nightly duties before heading into my nicely decorated room. Flopping in the bed with a thump and snuggling into the soft sheets and blankets. My eyes fluttered shut as I was whisked away into my fantasy land.

(3rd POV)

(Y/N) was awakened by a large crash from the living room. (Y/N) crept towards the closet to grab the wooden baseball bat. Grasping the handle and crept into the hallway and down the stairs. Before hitting the hardwood floor (Y/N) tripped on the 3rd stair and tumbled down making a huge ruckus. After falling all could be heard was the wooden bat rolling across the floor and hitting the wall lightly. (Y/N) laid face-first on the floor. Hearing small footsteps towards (Y/N). Turning to lay on their back to see the threatening figure standing over them only to be met with a small green dog? "Aww did you make a fall down the stairs?" The green dog questioned, "I must be going crazy or I hit my head pretty hard." Stretching their arm out to swipe the small figment from their imagination away only to be met with a solid figure. Eyes widened in realization, the small dog that stood in front of you was real. Their hand was still outstretched and on the dog's head, it started to purr under the warmth of your hand. taking away their hand only to be met with a whine from the dog. (Y/N) sat up and looked at the dog tilting their head at the strange creature, the dog mimicked the head movements. It had long black ears, green fur and its little tongue was sticking out of its mouth. "Aww you're so cute" it tilted its head in confusion " aww thank you, your cute too!" Standing up and picking up the small creature, "you hungry little guy?" "WAFFLES!!" It screamed close to their ear, cringing slightly at the loudness, and walked into the kitchen to make the dog waffles. Placing it on the center island.

(Y/N) POV

As I served the last bit of waffles on the plate for the dog. It was already stuffing its smallmouth with the waffles I had just baked. "So little dude how are the waffles?" "They are amazing, thank you pretty/handsome human!" He exclaimed "so do you have a name little guy?" Tilting his head slightly "master calls me Gir" " aww such a cute name for a cute creature!" As I watched Gir finish his waffles, he rubbed his eyes and hopped down from the center island, and walked into the living room. Following behind Gir he was looking at the bookshelf, he reached up and grabbed a small child's book and turned on his heel, and ran and handed me the book. "Aww, you want me to read you this book?" Nodding his head softly with the look of sleep still in his eyes. Walking and sitting in the large comfy chair Gir sitting on the floor in front of you. Bending down slightly and picking Gir up and setting him on my lap. "You could have asked to sit on my lap I would have let you."

Opening the book to the first page, soon turned to reading through half of the book. Looking down to see Gir sound asleep in my lap curled up. Petting his head softly which received a purr. Setting the book on the side table and curling around Gir and falling asleep myself, cuddling Gir.
