Watching the rain tap the window was peaceful. It was better than listening about how our world is doomed. I didn't care about the rain it was peaceful but, I didn't like getting wet. Wet clothing is something I don't do.

Getting knocked out of my thoughts by the bell. I quickly gathered my items into my bag and headed to my locker. Putting away all the useless items and grabbing my umbrella. Heading out the front door watching all the kids singing about rain and then floating off. Nothing new on a rainy day. But one kid was watching the rain with caution. Zim the new kid. He put his hand out in the rain and just one droplet made his hand burn and sizzle and he was scared in agony. 'He sure is weird and a drama queen' shaking the thought out of my head and opening my umbrella. Right as I was about to head down the front stairs Dib comes running behind Zim and pushes him down the stairs and into the wide-open where he was then pelted with raindrop after raindrop. He screamed in misery as his skin smoked and burned. Dib laughing at his pain and cheering about how mankind was going to win. Quickly running down the stairs and holding the umbrella over his head to help keep him dry. Looking up at Dib with a murderous glare, his eyes go wide and he sinks but gains his confidence once again " but he's an alien (Y/N) and trying to take over the world!" " I don't care it's not very nice to push people down the stairs and into the rain" I flared at him once more before turning my attention towards Zim who was still on the ground shaking slightly. "Hey, you ok" I put out my hand for him to take. He looked at it strangely like it had a disease but took my offer to help him up. "You have helped the Mighty Zim with your water force field." "Force field, it's just an umbrella. Well, I got to go later." Walking away slowly but quickly stopped by Zim screaming again. Sighing and putting the umbrella over his head again, "come on I'll walk you to your house." He just looked up at me in confusion. "You coming or not ?" Yes, yes the Mighty Zim will allow you to escort me to my perfectly normal human home." As I was "escorting" Zim to his home I started humming the lyrics Silhouette by Owl City. I could feel Zim's gaze on me. "what are those strange sounds and vibrations you are making human?" "(Y/N) my name is (Y/N), not human and I'm humming the song Silhouette, ever heard it!?" Shaking his head no, grabbing my phone from my back pocket and playing the song. As the lyrics began I started singing along.

Getting so sucked into the music I didn't even realize that we reached Zim's house. It was a large green house with a purple roof. The lawn was littered with creepy-looking gnomes and there was a flag that had big letters that read "I ❤️ EARTH." Walking up the small pathway and stopping at his front door. Before he could open the door a little green dog opened the door and tackled me in a hug. "Aww, master brought a pretty lady home!"

(3rd POV)

(Y/N) lifted their hand and stroked the green 'dog'? It started to purr under their touch "aww your so cute" Zim sighed in frustration and grabbed Girs's small ear, and pulled, but, Gir was hugging (Y/N) so tight that Zim pulled them up with Gir. He wasn't prepared for the extra weight and lost his balance which sent Zim and (Y/N) onto the door, both tumbling over each other. Both somehow ended in the middle of the living room. Zim has landed on top of (Y/N) sort of straddling their waist and holding him up with his arms. One arm on each side of (Y/N)'s head. Their faces were very close.

(Y/N) POV

I could feel my face heat up so fast as Zim looked down at me. Realization slowly came to Zim and his face was painted with a light purple blush, he was kind of cute, "uh Zim can you ge-" I were cut off by Gir's squeals and jumping on Zims back which caused him to slam his lips into mine. We both stayed in the position for a few seconds before I could feel Zim kissing me. My eyes fluttered shut and slowly kissed back. I could hear Gir run off to make some waffles. Zim let up and looked down at (Y/N) and smiled and got up and lent out a hand for me to take. He swiftly pulled me up and wrapped an arm around my waist and walked to the kitchen and sat down and ate the waffles at Gir soon server.
