and that's pretty much all that the preparation for prom consisted of now let's skip to the good bit 🤪

i roll my eyes checking the time

i turn around to go see if the girls are ready and to my surprise there the 3 beautiful girls were walking down the stairs arm in arm

i say taking in the beautifulness of the girl standing before me

kenzie giggles hitting my shoulder
"you clean up well kezy"
she scrunches up her face trying not to smile as her face starts to turn a light shade of red
"you ready gorgeous"
i extend my arm out for her to hold and walk her over to the limo we hired
"you look hAndsome"
she says as i open the door for her
"why thank you princess"
i smirk at her
"ok enough of the sappy stuff let's party"
lauren cheers entering the limo

the early hours of the night we spent taking pictures, loads of pictures, dancing, doing karaoke, eating and hanging out with friends and peers
"were getting to the end of the night and what best to finish it off with by announcing the prom king and prom queen"
we all move towards the main stage to hear the winners
"i completely forgot about all the prom king and queen stuff"
annie says joining the group
"you guys are definitely going to win"
lauren adds
"we weren't even nominated"

"you sure"

"who nominated"
i ask
"you're welcome"

"the nominees for prom king and prom queen are"
"urm and cough

and lastly
annie leblanc and asher angel"

i laugh
"yay you and me got nominated"
annie says running over to hayden
"you and asher"
hayden says suspiciously
"i don't even know asher"
she says kissing hayden
"you and nadia"
kenzie laughs
"wonder who nominated them"
she adds
"and the prom king and queen for 2019 are"
"makenzie ziegler and johnny orlando"
kenzie and i looked over at each with the same shocked face
"w-we won"
she smiles and runs into my arms while everyone begins to clap and cheer
"WOOHHHHH JENZIE JENZIE JENZIE JENZIE"
lauren and annie chant
"let's you clam our crowns baby gOrl"
i grab her and and start making out way to the c
"ew never say that again"
she laughs
"congratulations guys"
the lady says as we walk up to the center of the stage
they pass us our prom king and queen sashes and put the crowns on our heads
"wow this is a surprise"
i talk into the microphone
"thank you to anyone who voted for us"
kenzie says
"uh we love you"
she shrugs finishing off our lame speech
as we walk off i kiss kenzies cheek and hold her hand up ( like how they do in boxing if someone wins )
and everyone starts to cheer louder, well except for nadia and her little posse of friends who are making there way to the exit
"omg yay"
lauren squeals running over to kenzie and i
"we have to celebrate"
annie adds

hayden and i yell
