the next morning

i roll my eyes hearing the familiar sound of my alarm, ugh

"I actually have to try to look good today"
i say slowly getting up to walk to my closet

as i throw down every piece of clothing i own i realise that i might not actually dress cute everyday considering i've said no to every option, then i remember that i have a sister who isn't home at the moment, i quickly rush to her closet and right away i am greeted by a nude bodycon dress and one may think that this is to fancy to wear to school and i agree so i find a beigh knit oversized cardigan and i then go back into my room and accessorise with gold jewellery and slip on my white high top converse to dial it all down a bit

"ok i think i look pretty good"
i say to looking into the mirror at myself, i am wearing minimal makeup like always and have my hair laying down below my shoulders a tad waved from it being up all night

soon after i hear a car horn warning me that johnny has arrived to pick me up

"kenzie, what in the world are you wearing, it's cute but isn't it a bit much for school"
my mum asks looking at my outfit

"maybe"
i say glancing back and send her a quick smile as i walk out the door

as i walk to the car i notice lauren in the back so i go to join the girl but am interrupted
