"Hey," I peep as I come around the corner and face Dixon.

"Sup Monty?" He smirks as he walks into the office before me.

Monty?

"Uhm," I stumble for the words to say, "nothing really."

He sits in his seat, "about last night. You didn't do anything wrong. Just spooked me."

Spooked?

I raise an eyebrow as I stare at him, "okay."

He nods and yet another blonde forms in the doorway.

"Hi," she speaks softly, "is there an Ethan here?"

Dixon laughs, "that's me."

A fake name. Smooth one Casanova.

I look between them and try to stifle a laugh.

"Look," he rubs his neck and looks at her, "we were together last night... I think."

She cinches her eyebrows together, "were you that wasted?"

He sighs and looks at me before uncomfortably scoffing, "Yeah. I had a rough time last night. Did we sleep together?"

"I can step out," I interrupt.

"That's not needed," she responds. Before crossing her arms and storming off.

"I'm gonna take that as a yes," I scoff, "y'all slept together."

"Y'all?" He cocks an eyebrow an grins.

"What?" I look at him as his eyes lock me in place.

"We're in Massachusetts," he smiles, "you don't here that a lot."

"My nanny said it all the time," I smile as I remember her.

"Your nanny?" He asks.

"Yeah?"

"Wow," he smiles and sits back, "richie rich."

I laugh and roll my eyes, "whatever."

He shrugs, "am I wrong?"

"I don't like to discuss my family's wealth," I shake my head.

"Wait," he leans forward.

"Yes?"

"Montgomery?"

I feel a pit in my stomach, "Yeah."

"Like William Montgomery," he continued.

"That'd be father," I respond quietly.

"Damn," he huffs.

"What?" I ask as I watch him shake his head.

"Well your daddy dearest is the guy who put mine behind bars," he pinches at the bridge of his nose.

"Wait," I close my notes and watch him as he smiles one of those fake douche smiles.

"Yeah," he nods slowly before laughing an almost sarcastic laugh.

"Let's just get to work," i speak quietly as I'm afraid of where this might go.

"Why? Afraid I'll kill you?" He rolls his eyes.

"Dixon," I look down to my notebook, "let's drop this."

"You realize I have to live without my father every day as you enjoy never ending wealth because of your dad putting innocent people behind bars?"
