𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢 (𝐛𝐲𝐥𝐞𝐫)

gone

both mike and will were not ready to face each other at school. they both groan out of bed but will asked his mom if he can stay home because he felt so sick if he saw mikes face. joyce allowed and understood will. will stayed home, while mike went to school.
mike woke up not feeling it. he also asked his mom if he could stay home but she said
– "mike, youve missed school so many times this year, your going. get up!"
mikes mom didn't understand how sad he was
he gets up, scared to see will at school (he doesn't know) he was more disappointed in himself for yelling at will. he just didn't understand where will was coming from

at school
mike walks in with his face down. his friends say "hey, why weren't you at football practice?"
– "oh, i f-forgot"
his friends didn't really care about his life so they just moved on. mike walks around the school and is confused. hes seen no sign of will, but he does see wills friends. he approaches his friends and they cut him off and say
– "wow! wow! wow! wheeler! don't even speak! we are tired of you bullying us-"
– "WHERES WILL?!" mikes asks worried
the party froze and was confused but, max wasn't because she knew about wills crush on mike.
– "oh well why are you asking? since when do you care about will?" dustin asks
– "WHERE IS HE?!" he yells even more
– "mike chill! we haven't heard from him at all today!" they yell back
mike runs to wills first hour, he wasn't there
he runs to every bathroom, wasn't there

all of a sudden, the principal sees him in the hallway not in class
– "hey kid! get to class!"
– "okay.. y-yes s-sir"
mike is in his first hour, and all he can think about is will. he couldn't focus on anything but will. he realized maybe he isn't here because of their fight..

fast forward to lunch
mike goes to sit down at his table, but wills friends call him over to sit with them. so he does.
– "so.. mike, why all of sudden your worried about will?" dustin asks
– "it's a long story" he replied
– "well can you tell us because we all are so confused" lucas adds
– "ok well you all know yesterday when i ran out of the lunch room (they nod) that was because of will. i heard him talking about how i was the reason i made his life a living hell. i ran out and went to the bathroom...
(he tells the rest of the story)
– "... and then i yelled at him, and left his room and i think that's why he isn't here. to make a long story short, i love will so much and i bullied him to hide the fact that i had a crush on him. im s-scared if he doesn't feel the same"
the whole party is froze in shock. they didn't know what to say until max said to mike
– "well, when you left the cafeteria, will went up to me and told me, he liked you and then he left and that's the last ive seen of him"
