~Lili's POV~

Natalya barreled into Alfred, knocking him down the stairs. As he bounced downwards, an array of sounds ensued. Some students clapped, others sobbed, and a couple booed. Ms. Braginskaya, alerted to the situation by all this noise, came pushing through. "What in the world is going on here?" The crowd began to thin out as students scampered away from this very angry teacher. Soon, only a few kids were left. Matthew, Alfred's brother, walked up to Ms. Braginskaya, sniveling. "Li-Lili was threat-threatening my br-brother and then Natalya pu-pushed him down the stairs!" Ms. Braginskaya suddenly grabbed both Natalya and I by our shirt collars and dragged us to the office while Matthew called 911.

The inside of Principal Roma's office was white and filled with statues of Roman gods. In the middle was a marble desk, where Principal Roma sat. "Well, it looks like you've been stirring up trouble again, Natalya." he said, angry "And it looks like you got yourself a little friend to help you out." I shifted in my chair, uncomfortable. "She had no part in this whole thing, I forced her to threaten him." Natalya says, shooting me a Don't-say-anything look "Isn't that right, Lili?" I nodded, as it was the only thing I could do. Principal Roma regarded us, trying to figure out if we were lying or not. Finally, he gave up and took the easiest course. "Natalya, starting tomorrow, you will be suspended for five days. Lili," I shrunk back, frightened "Consider this a warning." I exhaled, relieved. "You may be dismissed." said Principal Roma, motioning for us to leave the office. I followed behind Natalya as we walked to the pickup area in silence.

I walked into school the next day to feel a thousand eyes staring at me. Whispers filled the air, many wondering where Natalya was. Fortunately, Alfred was in the hospital and couldn't bother me. I reached my classroom to find Elizabeta standing at the entrance, grinning widely, flanked by Antonio, Gilbert, and Francis. "Hi" I greeted them cheerfully. I assumed that since Natalya wasn't here, I should try to join a group. That way, I can minimize the harassment. "So you came crawling back." Elizabeta snickered.

I flinched at her tone of voice, unsure of if she was joking or not. "Yes, it appears that Lili here is a rat attempting to leave her sinking ship." hissed Francis. "You're not making any sense!" I exclaimed. "Allow vee to put zhis in simpler terms." began Gilbert "You can stick with that pariah if you vant, but vat will get you nowhere good. But if you join up with us, ve could get you things beyond your wildest dreams!" I rolled my eyes. Did they really think I was dumb? "Thanks, but no." I said, my tone turning angry. "Fine, have it your way" Elizabeta sighed "But this isn't over." Those words sent a chill down my spine that lasted for the next few periods.

I sat down at the usual table, which was empty. Nobody wanted to sit near Natalya, and I had become just as undesirable. As I began eating my spaghetti, two more people sat down in front of me. I looked up to see Ludwig and Feliciano eating quietly in front of me. "Hi" I greeted them, attempting to break the silence. "Hey" grunted Ludwig, clearly trying to avoid conversation. Neither of them looked themselves. Ludwig's hair wasn't slicked back, and Feliciano now wore an oversized black hoodie instead of his usual smiley face jacket. I wondered if he was going emo. We ate in silence for the rest of lunch.

It was after school, and I was being driven home by Big Brother. "So, I heard that there was a fight at your school." I felt a pit of dread form in my stomach. Why was he so calm about this whole thing? The Vash I knew would have likely blew up the entire town of Hetaliaville by now! "I'm glad you have that new friend of yours looking out for you." Big Brother continued "Elizabeta seems like a very nice girl." I simply sat there. Why did he think that I was friends with Elizabeta? And how does he know her name? "She was telling me what good friends you are," said Big Brother, interrupting my thoughts "and how that crazy girl Natalya kept trying to manipulate you. I talked to her about keeping an eye on you and reporting to me every day." I grunted. So this was Elizabeta's master plan. I decided to play along, as it was the only thing that I could do. "Yeah, she's a great friend." I said, grinning convincingly. "Good" said Vash, giving a rare smile "I just don't want you going near that Natalya girl. Promise me you won't?" I nodded, although this wasn't a promise I was planning on keeping. "That's my girl." Big Brother chirped, patting me on the head "Now tell me more about this Elizabeta girl." I spent the rest of the day making up fake Elizabeta stories to tell Big Brother.

The next few days were the same miserable routine over and over again. I arrived at school, joined Elizabeta and her minions, and went to class. At lunch, I tried to sit at the "losers table" with Ludwig and a progressively more emo Feliciano, who now had black hair. Elizabeta would drag me to her table, where I forced laughter and went along with everything she said. She was in cahoots with my brother. If I did something she didn't like, who knows what kind of hell she would raise? And at the end of the day, she would report to my brother. Then, he would ask me about my day. I would make up stories to tell him. Then I would go to bed, wake up, and begin the cycle again. However, the next Tuesday felt different. As I headed down for breakfast, I realized why. Today was the day Natalya returned!

I quickly grabbed my toast and hurried to school. As I headed through the double doors that served as the entrance, I saw Natalya standing in her usual spot. "Natalya! I missed you!" I exclaimed, running up to her and hugging her tightly. Instead of pulling back, she leaned into the embrace. "Yeah, nice to see you too." As I began to tell her about all that happened while she was gone, Natalya interrupted me. "Um, I think these people want to talk to you." she whispered, gesturing behind me. "Eh?" I said, turning around just in time to meet the gaze of a certain angry brunette.

Chapter 4 is here! I'm just going to say that I altered a lot of the character's personalities a lot, and this doesn't really follow hetalia. Just if you wanted to know if that was intentional. Also, DON'T FORGET TO VOTE!
