(I think what I'm gonna start doing is not rush things too much like how I was before and give each character like a completed story or something like that. So that last chapter and this chapter and maybe even the next chapter will seem very Doug and Chad heavy because I want to develop that story along with continuing the Carlos and Ben story while also adding in a bit more subplots!)

~The Next Day~Ben's POV~

"Hey, Mrs. Patchelli!" I say excitedly as I walk into the library. Something hasn't been quite right with these 'visions'. I decided to stop calling them dreams because I honestly don't believe that that's what they are.

"Oh well hello there, King Ben!" She responds with a huge smile. She's been the librarian here for as long as I can remember, I used to come in here all the time when I was a kid.

"I told you, you can just call me Ben," I inform her and she just chuckles.

"So how can I help you today, King Ben?" She asks, completely ignoring my previous statement.

"Well, I was just wondering if there were any books involving the mind, more specifically things to do with visions maybe?" I ask. I wasn't having much luck searching online so what better place to do it than a library, right?

"Hmm, we must have a new class on this or something," She jokes and starts chuckling and I give her a confused look.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Well I just mean that you're not the first person that has come in and looked at those kinds of books." She clarifies and I just give a slight smile. "Anyway sweetie, there should be a small section in the back to the left!"  I smile and thank her quickly before making my way to the back of the building.

I wonder what other students have been looking at books like these... maybe they have been experiencing weird things too! I mean why else would they check stuff out like this unless they have been? Well, they could be interested in it, I guess.

I turn into the section and to my dismay, there aren't a lot of books on the topic. It's clear that not a lot of people read these books, there was a good layer of dust on each of them except a few.

"Function on dreams and hallucinations," I whisper aloud to myself, maybe this one could help. I pull it down from the shelf and notice that it's one of the few that someone has recently checked out.

I open the book and skim a few pages and stop when I get to a certain page that tells me something interesting.

"When asleep, the human brain conjures up dreams based on the 4 strongest human emotions," I read aloud to myself. Maybe this one isn't what I'm looking for after all.

I look for 20 more minutes and come up with nothing. I'm about to leave when I notice a book that seems out of place.

"Time Traveling Myths and Legends?" I say confused. I guess it wouldn't hurt to skim it? I'll put it back for Mrs. Patchelli on my way up to the front anyways. I started flipping through pages until I landed on a page that actually caught my interest.

"Alternate time lines," I read. "An alternate timeline is a timeline that existed before someone went back in time and changed something. Ex: Someone kills a lady bug in timeline 1, but they don't kill it when they go back in time, now a timeline 2 is created where the lady bug lives." Alternate timelines huh? Sounds kinda dumb.

I turn into the time traveling aisle and I put it in a random place before walking off. Before I can get completely out of the aisle, I notice another book that sounds interesting: 'Timeline Remnants Vol 5: Visions'.
