A Fix in Time ~Benlos~

(Not much drama in this chapter but for those of you who love Doug and Chad, I would definitely be excited)

~Carlos's POV~

This wasn't supposed to happen, not like this anyway. None of them were supposed to find out until I fixed everything. How the hell did they even find out??

"Well?" I hear Chad say rudely and it snaps me back.

"I...I never meant for this to happen," I admit and they all sigh.

"Carlos, why did you do it in the first place?" Evie asks, sounding genuinely confused.

"Well, that's a long story, but to sum it all up," I looked over at Jay and he nodded as if to say he's got my back. "I'm gay. In the previous timeline, Evie, Mal, Jay and I all came here as the first set of villain kids. Instead of just being sent here as a test, Maleficient gave us a plan, steal the magic wand and break the barrier on the Isle. But I fell in love with someone, he was great and I later found out he was my true love and our plan had ruined his life. I felt awful so I sacrificed everything to give him back what I had stolen, I undid it."

"So, uhm, y-you're gay?" Doug asked and I nodded.

"That is so not the important part here," Lonnie stated and the others laughed.

"I remember that.." Everyone turned to the corner of the room to see Harry standing there.

"You do?" Doug and Lonnie ask, both seeming very intruiged.

"Yeah, I mean, I wasn't there, but I watched everything go down on tv." He says and Doug gets excited.

"That means I was right! Today's TimeWave was a big one and it affected you!" Doug exclaims happily.

"Time what?" Harry says confused.

"Yeah, what are TimeWaves?" I ask and Doug looks at me confused.

"You don't know?" I shake my head and he sits down. "So, you changed the timeline, right?" I nodded my head. "Well there's something about this timeline that doesn't have what it's supposed to. So the universe is trying to get it back to what it was, and the way it does that is by sending out TimeWaves. These TimeWaves are kinda like test to see if they will fix themselves and they get bigger and bigger until it's reset."

"Reset? What do you mean reset?" Jay asks.

"Like, nothing is going to be the same. Like what Carlos did when he went back in time," Lonnie explains.

"Carlos, don't you get it now?" Sazana suddenly blurts out. "That's why everything was different when you went back, and that's why you can't go back again! The universe is trying to fix itself!"

"So what? It's gonna reset and there's nothing we can do about it? If it resets then none of us are going to remember any of this! And we don't know how far back this reset will go!" I state and everyone just looks at each other, as if unsure of what to say.

"Wait, no! Doug, remember what we came up with!" Lonnie suddenly shouted and Doug gasped when he realized he forgot whatever it was they had planned.

"Oh you're right!" He exclaims then turns to me. "Carlos, we think that we can stop the TimeWaves and stop the universe from resetting if we find out what exactly it was in the previous timeline that the universe wants back."

"And the only person who would know that is you," Mal says more to herself than anyone.

"Do you have any idea?" Chad asks. I knew exactly what it was.

"Yeah, I do." I respond. They all huddle in in anticipation waiting for me to reveal what it is. "I met my true love. I experienced my true love's kiss. I was with my true love in that timeline."
