but trust me, it's no lie
even though the sun is out
far behind the blurry clouds
there are a bazillion stars
buried deep down the visible scars
though it's morning and you can't see
the bright stars which glee
on the mention of your poetic name
yes, my words sound so lame
but like the stars in the morning sky
stay hidden behind the clouds passing by
i love you, though you don't realize
that your picture is carved before my very eyes
and you're all i truly treasure
my love for you, i can never measure
because deep in my heart
from the very start
i have tattooed your name
my words still sound so lame
but when i look at the morning sky
i can feel your picture flashing by.
