"My baby doing his damn thing!" Elena cheerful yelled as she judged me a little bit and I laughed. Seeing my sister this excited all over again honestly made me happy. Her glow, the way she smiled every time he ran past us on the court, I could tell she was genuinely happy with this guy and I just wanna make sure he feels the same because I don't play about my sister.
Even though it was kind of short notice, Elena begged us to come to his game so we could meet him and of course the boys didn't want to, but Kentrell had no choice. Besides, he wasn't gonna let me come alone anyways because he swears somebody might think I'm single.
"Kentrell Donovan can give you some shooting lessons" liyah joked, clowning the fact that Kentrell couldn't play basketball for the life of him
"Hahaha. Shutcho ass up. That nigga can't teach me shit, I know how to shoot"
I shook my head and patted his lap "no baby. She's talking about basketball, not bullets"
"Oh" he plainly responded and liyah rolled her eyes, leaning back on baby joe
"Wassup y'all" Kd greeted us as he walked over to where we sat with alaysia following behind him. Of course Kd was still in school so this was our first time seeing him since the weekend and of course I still didn't care for alaysia, but my dumbass brother is still with her so I'll be cordial.
She looked at me before walking past and followed Kd to the row behind us. The blanket over kemoni's car seat moved so I knew she had probably woken up from her extra long nap. I lifted the blanket up and met her big brown eyes. She let out a yawn and rubbed her eyes before stretching her legs out

Kemoni's eyes wandered around as she looked, trying to figure out where she was and once she laid eyes on Kentrell she started reaching out to him.
"Kentrell. Your child" I turned the car seat towards him and he smiled at her before reaching down to unstrap her and picked her up
"I'm still tryina figure out why we had to come" baby joe asked as he pointed at himself and Kentrell but liyah quickly punched his arm
"I ain lying" Kentrell muttered while he sat Kemoni on his lap and I looked at him
"Elena wanted us to meet Donovan. Don't kill her mood Kentrell, look at how happy she is"
We both looked at Elena and she was too focused on the game to hear what we were discussing. Kentrell shook his head
"She wanted YALL to meet this nigga. Fuck I need to get to know him fa?"
"Really trell? Elena is like a sister to you so the least you can do is meet her boyfriend. Especially since she's so excited for us to meet him"
Kentrell looked me up and down before paying attention to Kemoni, who was watching the game with her hand in her mouth like she knew what she was looking at.
"Aye lil girl. You lookin at them basketball players a lil too hard" he turned her around to face him but she still turned around to look at them again
"That's right baby. Find you a nice educated athlete" I said to Kemoni with a laugh and she looked at me smiling
"Keep on. Gone get a nice educated asswhooping" Kentrell responded back to me and I laughed, not paying him any attention and watched the game until it was over. Once the game was over Kd and alaysia left and we stayed behind for Elena
