Thanksgiving was at my mommas and Derek's place and of course everyone was invited. Liyah's sister and her boyfriend came out to Baton Rouge so thankfully all of us were together and although I wanted Kemoni spending the holidays with both sides of her family, I doubt that would ever happen because Kentrell still isn't talking to his momma
"Alyceia, it was so sweet of y'all to come out here for thanksgiving cause Noel swear the world was gonna end if liyah missed kemoni's first thanksgiving" my momma told liyah's sister and she laughed while she held Kaleb on her hip. He's been attached to her since she arrived like he's known her all his life
"It was nothing. Especially since I finally got to meet Kaleb and Kemoni. And they both so cute"
"I know my baby cute, you ain't gotta tell me" I boasted while I ate a piece of the sliced ham. My momma rolled her eyes and continued to slice up the rest of the ham.
"That girl makes me sick" she snatched the ham out of my hand and gave it to Kaleb. He smiled and started started eating it while I looked at my momma some type of way
"Why would you do that?"
"Cause you can wait just like everybody else"
" unless she eating for two again?" Alyceia blurted out and I shook my head
"Oh no baby. Kemoni is all I'm having"
"Mhmm" my momma muttered "and you also said Kentrell was gone have to wait 5 years before y'all start having babies and look at y'all. Where is my baby anyways?"
"She with the boys, all up under her daddy"
"Oh so she's a daddy's girl" Alyceia asked and I nodded
"A big time daddy's girl" my momma spoke "Kentrell has that girl spoiledt ROTTEN"
"Momma ain't believe me till she saw it herself. And watch y'all gone see it too before the day over with"
"Ima talk to you later" Elena said into the phone with her fake ass soft voice. I instantly knew she was talking to a boy. We all looked at her as she hung up with a smile on her face and noticed us staring
"Dang. Hey y'all"
"And who was that?" I asked. She sat her phone down on the counter
"A friend from school"
"What school? Cause I thought you got kicked out Muhammad Ali jr" my momma tried to crack and Elena twisted up her lips
"Leave me alone. I met him before I got kicked out. And his name is Donovan"
"Donovan? What happened to Kd?" Momma asked and I looked at her confused
"Ma they broke up last month. You late"
"Very" Dana miraculously joined the conversation while she walked into the kitchen with liyah behind her, holding Kemoni.
I'm surprised Kentrell let her get Kemoni
"Well hell. Y'all don't tell me nothing. I thought they were still together"
"That's cause you too busy out here living your best life with Derek" Dana told her and she started smiling
"I deserve it. Y'all grown witcha own kids to take care of now"
"Now I knew Dana was pregnant when y'all came down for thanksgiving but Noel..." Alyceia said as she looked at me "that shocked me when liyah told me you was having a baby"
