I was frozen at my spot. Unable to move. It felt like a storm devastating my feelings and a hurricane making my heart scared. My breath hitched as their eyes look at me.

Dahan-dahan akong napaatras, takot na iniisip na baka mangyari ulit ang nangyari sa nakaraan. Naramdaman ko ang pag ragasa ng kaba sa aking dibdib.

Why are they here? I–I thought gyla will keep them away from me? Did she betrayed me?

"S–Selene?"

Pakiramdam ko ay nabingi ako ng mga sandaling iyon. Takot, iyan ang nangungunang nararamdaman ko ngayon.

"I h–have to go gyla." With one step i turned my back and walked as fast as I can. Ang gusto ko na lamang ay malayo sa ligar na ito. Malayo sa mga lalaking sumura sa akin pitong taon na ang nakalilipas.

I ran to the door and went outside.

Sa di kalayuan ay may nakita akong tagong bench. I can't take this any longer. Pakiramdam ko ay kahit anong oras ay bibigay na ako.

Nang maabot ko ang bench ay dahan-dahan akong umupo. I closed my eyes tightly and helfd my chest. I calmed myself even before having panick attacks.

Isa iyon sa naging epekto ng ginawa nila sa akin noon. Panick attacks made my life harder in california.

"Don't cry self. D–Don't cry."

"Selene! O my!"

I opened my eyes to see gyla running towards me. I immediately stood up. Why did she even invite those bastards? Ni hindi man lang ba niya maalala ang mga nangyari noon?!

"What happened to you?"

"Really gyla? You're now asking me what the hell is happening to me?! Bakit sila nandito? Akala ko ba ay ilalayo mo ako sa mga lalaking sumira sa pagkatao ko noon?!" My breathing became faster.

Napamaang si gyla.

"S–Selene no. Please—

"What now gyla?! You just betrayed me! You betrayed your bestfriend." I pushed her hard. Napakagat ako sa aking labi. I shouldn't have done that.

"Selene just listen! This is me, being mature. For christ sake, sa tignin mo ba kung hindi pa sila maayos ay iimbitahin ko sila dito?! My god selene, please think wise. Yes what they did to you seven years ago was not bearable. But selene..." She stopped talking and tapoed my shoulders lightly.

"Please trust me selene, okay? You know that i will not do something that can harm you. Please give them a shot. They changed, i saw how they changed."

Napapikit ako ng mariin at bumuga ng hangin. Should i take the risk? Should I just forgive the for what have they done to me?

Huminga ako ng malalim at iminulat ko ang mga mata ko.

"I'm sorry for what I did earlier gyla. Let's go inside."

TAHIMIK lamang akong nakaupo sa tabi ni gyla. I can't even move an inch. Ramdam na ramdam ko din ang mga titig na ibinibigay nila sa akin.

But i didn't feel that they have a hidden agenda anymore.

I noticed their few changes. Their rude faces before was turned into a soft one. May parte sa akin na gustong paniwalaan na nagbago na sila pero hindi ko pa din kaya.

"Ehem, so let's enjoy this night ladies and gents shall we?" Pagbasag ni gyla sa katahimikan.

Napatingin ako sa kaniya at sa lalaking nakaakbay sa kaniya.
