"Selene, are you listening?"

I stopped overthinking when i hear rose's voice. Napatingin ako sa kaniya at ikinurap ko ang mga mata ko. So I'm not paying attention the whole time she's talking about something?

"Are you okay? You look... pale." She scanned my whole face.

"Ahh, wala 'to rose. I'm perfectly fine." I smiled at her. It seems like she's satisfied with my answer.

"Okay, so as I was saying. Doctor. Wealand said that we are in charge of his patients. He's absent for today because of important matters." Pagpapaliwanag niya. I never saw Doctor. Wealand anymore.

Ang huling pagkikita namin ay noong isang araw pa. Iyon ay noong inihatid niya ako pauwi.

"Where is he?" I curiously asked. Sandaling napatigil si rose at tinaasan ako ng kilay. Oh, what now? Did i do something wrong?

"Why are you interested huh? You like him don't you."

"Well yes– of course not! I'm just asking where he is. He's a doctor and we are his assistants." I rolled my eyes. Damn selene, you almost said that you like him. That you like your boss doctor!

"Hmm, okay. Sabi mo yan eh."

"What's the schedule of my next patient rose?" I asked. Ayaw ko na maguluhan ako sa schedule ng pag ro-rounds. Kaya itinatanong ko na din para mas sure ako kung saan ako pupunta na pasyente.

"Well, you have 2 1:30 pm. 1 4pm. That's all." She said. 4 pm? Oh wait, night duty nga pala ako ngayon.

"How about 6 pm rose?" Tanong ko.

"I think you have, i didn't see the whole schedule." Saad niya. Napabuntong hininga ako. I will not see mason this time. I know when i get home mason is asleep. I miss my son.

"How about you rose? Hanggang anong oras ka?"

"5 pm dear, but if you want I will wait for you." She smiled.

"No need rose, i can manage. After your work just go home and take a rest. Take care of mason for me." I said. Tumango naman siya. Sa kahit anong bagay ay mapapagkatiwalaan talaga si rose.

"Okay, oh! I have a patient now. See you later selene!" She flying kissed and i smiled and wave at her.

Napahinga ako ng malalim. Napadako ang tingin ko sa desk ni Doc. Wealand. I'm not surprised to see it arranged. He is the type of guy who's obsessed with arranging things. Napaka organisado niyang tao.

Mabilis na lumipas ang oras at ngayon ay tapos na ako sa pag ro-rounds. Mamayang gabi na ulit ang schedule ko sa mga pasyente.

"Selene, I will go no. Are you sure you can do it alone?" Rose asked while fixing her hair and her clothes. Ngumiti ako at umiling.

"Yes rose, you can go now. Be safe okay and please tell mason that I love him." Nakangiti kong saad. Sandali siyang tumingin sa akin at ngumiti. Kinuha niya ang bag niya at akmang lalabas na.

"Goodbye selene, ingat ka."

After that she went out. Napahing ako ng malalim at napasandal sa upuan. I looked at the wall clock. It's 5:50 pm. Rose really take an overtime just to be with me. But i insisted and told her to go home.
