AC's POV

I gave my sincerest serious stare at Ken who just smiled at me. His phone is ringing and I kinda felt myself answering it then change his ringtone. 🙄

Sa dinami-dami ng kanta sa phone niya yung cover pa namin ng Maybe The Night ang ginawang ringtone. We did it the day he came home. Hinila talaga ako para maiwan sa bahay nila just to cover this song that he immediately posted the same day in his fb account. I really thought at first na sa fb niya lang pinost, yun pala pati sa YouTube channel niya. If Lala didn't mention to me that she saw it, baka ngayon hindi ko pa rin alam na inupload niya pala sa YT. 🙄

I sighed and let him answer the call and continued preparing our meryenda. Nandito na naman kasi si Kenneth sa bahay para tumambay. Paano ba naman bigla raw siyang nabored sa bahay nila. Tss

"Hayst.."

I heard him sighed and saw how he let his body fall on the sofa. Nagtataka talaga ako if he's really bored? Or sadyang pagod lang kasi inumaga na namang natulog? 🤔

"You should've relaxed at your house."

I wasn't able to heard any response kaya napailing na lang ako. Nasan na ba kasi yung tatlo? Tsk

"Tuloy ba kayo mamaya?"

I smiled and nodded kahit hindi niya makita. "Yeah. If you're planning to leave early."

I heard him chuckled. "Then I'm not leaving early. I'll even ask tita if I could sleep here."

Bigla kong nabitawan ang kutsara na hawak ko. I don't know why but the thought of his plan made me feel something weird. 🙈

"Mom won't let you!" I kept myself from stutterring.

"She will!" he exclaimed and I can imagine how his lips form a smirk. "She loves me!"

Napahawak na ako sa upuan ng marinig yun. Ano bang pinaglalaban ng lalaking to? At ano bang pinaglalaban ng nararamdaman mo Ac? Tss

I didn't response and agad ng tinapos ang meryenda. Then dinala ko na sa living room. I stopped as I saw him resting his head at the sofa and his eyes are closed. Natutulog ba to?

Hindi ko napigilang di siya titigan ng mabuti. From his hair, down to his eyebrows, to his eyes, to his nose, until his lips. Shit! 🙊 bakit ba kasi ang gwapo ng childhood friend ko? 🙄

Whoever the girl that he will love is so damn lucky. Ken is really charming in all ways. He's very gentleman, sweet and caring. He will do everything for his loved ones whatever it takes. Kaya sobrang swerte ng babaeng mamahalin niya.

He's almost perfect..

"Baka matunaw ako nyan."

My eyes widened as my lips parted. I shrugged my body and put the snacks on the table. I saw how he smirked so I shook my head.

Tumingin naman siya sakin habang inaayos ko ang mga magazines sa table and nilagay sa ilalim nito.

Then I raised my gaze at him and saktong napatingin siya sa tv. I felt my lips smirking and tumabi na sa kanya.

"Stop smirking!"

Bigla akong napangiwi sabay irap sa kanya. Pasalamat talaga siya at pinatuloy ko siya rito. I should've gone with Francine at the mall pero I didn't. Mabuti na lang at di nagalit yung pinsan ko. Tsk

"Bakit ka nga ulit nandito?"

Napatingin siya sakin habang nakangiti. "Ang sungit mo naman. I just wanna hang out."
