Geoff Payne was in the same room, in the same position, in front of the same person. But this time his son was with him. At first, Harry had his guards prepared to kick them out and maybe even more. But if Geoff would take a couple of days to break, the young boy promised a more interesting journey. This toy would last longer, as he was healthy and energetic. So, Harry accepted the suggestion and without giving them the chance to say goodbye, he ordered one of his maids to take Liam to a spare room on the first floor. After arranging his belongings in the tiny and cold room, Liam hurried outside excitedly. The sight of Mr. Styles' forest reminded him of a magical dream. He was finally far away from the loud city life he never liked.

While he was busy daydreaming and breathing the fresh morning air, someone cleared their throat behind him. He turned around and smiled politely at Mr. Styles, who, of course, didn't return it.

- You are going to work in my house in stead of enjoying the view. You've got tasks to accomplish and you shouldn't get anywhere without my permission. I hope I won't have to remind you that again. And, Liam, one tiny sign of disobedience and I'll send you right back to your house and make your father work ten times harder than intended. - Harry stated coldly.

Liam nodded and frowned shamefully. He shouldn't have walked outside without asking Harry first. He promised himself to follow the rules better and waited for his daily tasks to begin.

- Now, come to the gardens with me. All you have to do is get rid of all the white roses there. I'm sick of that color. There better not be even one petal left. - Harry ordered and walked to the garden in his elegant manner, without waiting for the boy.

Liam ran after him as his legs were much shorter than Harry's, hindering him from walking that fast. When they finally reached the garden that was ten minutes away from the house, Harry took a pair of ordinary scissors from his pocket and gave it to Liam, who was looking around to find gardening materials and gloves. There weren't any.

- Go ahead, Liam. You have three hours to finish this. - Harry told him, not changing his straight posture even slightly.

Liam glanced at the enormous garden in front of him that seemed to be half covered in white roses. He looked up at the tall man.

- Do I have to do all of this? - he asked confusedly, not sure if he heard it right.

Harry glanced down at him but decided against raising his voice. The boy's tone and expression were so innocent that it was obvious he only wanted to know if he understood his job right. But Harry didn't care neither about his innocence nor his big brown puppy eyes. He pouted mockingly and pointed in the opposite direction.

- Oh no, Liam. This is only half of the garden. There it is. - he said as Liam's eyes widened at an area of the same size on the other side.

With that Harry left him alone with a pair of scissors under the blazing sun and in front of a garden full of thousands of white roses.

Liam didn't lose his motivation, though. He ran to the first white rose he noticed and tried to cut it, which was nearly impossible with the paper scissor. He grabbed the flower, but it cut through his sensitive skin with its sharp thorns. Ignoring the blood that was getting mixed with the dark green leaves and the snow-white petals, Liam tossed the rose from one side to the other until he finally pulled it away from the root. Then he went to the next one, and the next, and the next... Nearly three hours later his legs were hurting so badly that all he could do was crawling and sitting on the muddy ground to continue his work. His back was burning because of the blazing sun. His fingers were all scratched and wounded as the thorns were too rough and sharp. The poor boy was shivering, covered in sweat, his short quiff messed, and his legs almost numb.

You'd think a young millionaire like Harry would have something better to do with his time rather than stare at the boy from afar. Usually his eyes were on hot women in short dresses and sexy make-up of his own age. But right now the sixteen-year-old boy, who was desperately trying to get rid of a rose was the center of the rich man's attention. He didn't fit in his mansion at all. He was a part of the average normal world, too smiley and kind for his taste. He looked odd around the elegance and glory of Harry's life. And before Liam's unfamiliar personality would become Harry's distraction, he had to find a way to break the boy.

Seeing that the promised three hours were passed, Harry went back to the garden. The work was obviously unfinished and Liam looked so fragile and vulnerable, like he could pass out any moment. However, he amazed Harry by the amount of work he still managed to do despite the unfair circumstances.

"He must really care for his dad." Harry thought and mentally counted the harder jobs he could give to Liam. He called the boy and sent him to work at the farm, not giving him time to clean his wounds and take a break. That may have been the wrong thing to do, as Liam's hands needed to be cleaned immediately to avoid infection, but Geoff had to learn what happened when he was in debt to Harry Styles. Liam tried to ignore the pain and tried to complete as much of the work as his weak body could succeed. At the end of the day, he was sent to his small room without dinner, as punishment for he not cutting all the white roses in the garden. He dropped himself on the rough and old bad, tired, thirsty, and hungry. But he still called his parents with a smile on his face. He hid everything, saying that the people were kind to him and that he was having fun working outside. Geoff didn't believe him at first but Liam assured him that he was doing great, even if in reality he wanted to cry and run back to his home.

That's how the days went for him after that. He got all the messy work in the gardens, the farm, and the pool. He never complained, though, knowing that he was doing it for his dad's sake. Also, in his eyes, this was a good opportunity to become stronger and more mature, rather than depend on his parents' love and comfort all the time.

Time passed and it's been nearly a month since the young boy started working for the heartless man. Geoff and Karen were convinced that everything was alright, because Liam couldn't let his middle-aged father suffer like that.

He was currently cleaning the mess in the farm, his skin looking tan from all the physical work under the sun. His chubby cheeks and jawline were covered in almost unnoticeable facial hair that made him even cuter. His slim body gained muscles, making his arms beautifully formed. He was working shirtless, as it was too hot, and even the middle-aged maids found it difficult to concentrate on their work, when the gorgeous and yet innocent young boy was there, looking so perfect and pure.

Harry was enjoying the view from the balcony with a satisfied smirk. This lasted far longer than he expected. The kid was only getting more handsome from the hard work and what was surprising he wasn't giving up. Harry knew very well how he cried at nights from time to time, missing his family and his normal life. But that only brought joy to then man.

One of his loyal assistants, Zayn, entered the room and walked to the balcony.

- Mr. Styles? It's here. - he informed.

- Great! Let these two meet tomorrow. - Harry grinned darkly, his eyes not leaving Liam's body.
