No one annoys me more than you
No one frustrates me more than you
No one disappoints me more than you
No one angers me more than you
You're at the top of the list of people who makes me cry or want to cry tears of frustration
I had you up so high
I thought you would never come down
But when you did, I saw you for who you really are
And you didn't even apologise
You always, always have to justify the wrongs you do
You think you're so clean
No one is dirtier than you
No one makes me want to curse at them more than you
No one makes me want to punch them square in the face more than you
You always want the respect you think you deserve
No one is more disrespectful than you
You think because you're silent and your voice doesn't go up an octave that you're good
That you've done nothing wrong
That you're clean in God's eyes
That you're righteous in God's sight
You think because you apologise for the surface things you don't have to look at the wounds you've inflicted that are so deep
You hurt me but
No one manipulates more than you
And you don't even see
Not even when I explained these things did you understand
I felt like my explanations were muffled screams
No one drove and/ or drives me crazy more than you
No one aspires me to not be like them more than you
But your blood is in my veins
Mom says you and I are the same
Hearing those words as a little girl I rejoiced
Now I just feel infuriated and ashamed
What if I could get a knife and tear those genes out?
Can I ever extract them from within me?
I don't want to ever be like you but it looks like it's too late
It makes me wish I was never born
No one hurts me more than you
And no one ever will
And if I am to actually get married
Though it's a slim chance
No one will walk me down the aisle
But know it won't ever be you
I've had it up to here
And I won't call you out on your bullshit anymore
I'll just leave it where it's at
You can't tell a narcissistic, hypocritical, self-righteous man a damn thing
You'll be like a person continuously showing a blind person something
They will never see
