A few days have passed since the incident. Present Mic told you his work phone number in case you find out anything about the villains. You almost passed out of excitement over the number because you thought it was his personal phone number. Gotta have high hopes, right?

"Didn't know how but I always had a feeling," you sang under your breath. "I was gonna be that one in a million."

You sat down on a bench in the park you were strolling through and sighed. You were just one of a million fans of Present Mic, why would he treat you any differently from the rest?

His explanation made sense, but it just made you feel special and that didn't make sense.

You took out your notebook and took in the scenery, the song High Hopes by Panic! at the Disco stuck in your head. You were one of the many people out there who had a crush on that yellow-headed, hot celebrity.

Maybe you should start getting a life and socialize more and get a more realistic crush or boyfriend or girlfriend.

Being lonely sucks, you thought to yourself. After Rina got sick you've barely been talking to anyone, really.

Maybe you should visit your editor again. Lina was fun to talk to, and you could ask her if she knew anything about the villain that supposedly had the same name as her.

Lina has been a good friend since middle school and both heroes had confirmed from your description of her that they were not the same person.

However, it was a strange coincidence that you knew both a Lina and a Kaito.

You wrote down a few poems down on your pad, then got up to head towards Lina's.

You had visited Rina that morning, working on your quota along the way. You wrote down ideas for your story while you took walks around the town. Usually you visited the park, but you changed it up every once in a while. Museums, libraries, zoos, and other places were all places where you could think of ideas and enjoy the scenery. Sometimes settings in your stories were based off of those places.

As you walked past buildings and houses you hummed a random tune, attempting to get High Hopes out of your mind, not that it was a bad song. Finally you arrived at Lina's apartment building. She lived on the second floor so you climbed the stairs to her apartment.

You rang the doorbell and stood outside, wondering if she had any ideas or suggestions for the story you were writing.

There were footsteps walking towards the door, and after a few seconds clicks of locks unlocking were heard. The brunette's green eyes peered at you.

"Hey, [Y/N]! What brings you here?" Lina smiled at you.  Visiting her randomly like this was, well, random of you. She opened the door widely and invited you in.

"Just visiting," you answered, returning the smile. "Talking to you here is better than sitting in front of a screen and texting, right?"

You came into her apartment and sat down on the couch. "What'd you think of the latest chapter I sent you?"

Lina sat down in front of you after locking the door again. "Awesome! You're not as good at romance as your mystery and thriller books, but it's still great."

"Well, this is what I get for telling myself to change it up a bit." You laughed. "Anyway, did you know that there's these villains that have the same names as you and your boyfriend?"

"What do you mean? Kaito and I?" Lina suddenly sat up straighter and there was interest in her eyes.

"Yeah, a few days ago these two pro heroes were chasing villains with the same names."

Whenever you told her about your mystery and thriller novels she was always interested in them so this interest from her wasn't out of the ordinary.

"That's some coincidence," Lina murmured. "Did the heroes tell you their quirks?"

You blanked. "Ah, no. I forgot to ask. Now that I think about it, your quirks really don't suit that of a villain's."

Lina's quirk was Autopilot. She could do just about anything accurately and swiftly if she does it enough times and doesn't think when she's doing those things. It helped a lot during the school days and currently as an editor.

Kaito's quirk was Absorb. He could alter his skin to anything he touches. How long the skin could last depends on the material and how long he touches it.

You doubted that people with these quirks would be some dangerous villains, unless they had multiple quirks that they kept secret from you. That you double-doubted, since you've known them both for many years.

"Where's Kaito anyway? I haven't heard from him lately." You wanted to tell him about this too. "He'll find this interesting."

"He's away on a job. He's been helping the hero Best Jeanist with an internship student from the U. A. highschool." Lina chuckles. "He's been complaining about how obnoxious the boy is."

You nodded, chuckling with her. "I bet it's that blond boy that placed first in the Sports Festival. Katsuki Bakugo or something like that."

"More like Bakago," Lina joked. "Honestly, just take the damn first place medal."

"I'm surprised a guy like him even got accepted into U. A."

Lina hummed in agreement.

You two continued talking about your story, your music, and the U. A. high school. You told her about how you met Present Mic and Eraserhead, which she was really jealous of. She was a huge fan of Present Mic.

"Anyways, how's the situation with Rina?"

"Not so good." You sighed. "Her condition's been worsening. I use my quirk on her every morning but she's not getting any better."

The two of you fell silent, thinking about her. The mood had changed dramatically.

"I'll.... I'll be off now," you finally said. You gave her a small smile and got up. "It was nice talking to you again. Makes me feel like I'm not alone."

"Of course." Lina stood up with you and went to open the door for you. "Tell Rina I said hi."

You nodded, then walked out. When the door closed behind you, you sighed. Lina's a good, supportive friend.
