Make-Up ~ A Jungkook x Reader

~Part Five~

After around an hour of driving, the car finally pulls into the parking lot. "Ok, masks on, and stay in the buddy system," Jin orders. "Do we get to pick our buddies?" Taehyung questions. "Sure, I'm going with Namjoon," Jin says, the two slipping their masks and hats on. "I call Y/N-Noona!" Jungkook exclaims, grabbing onto the woman's hand. Y/N jolts slightly, not expecting that, but grabs Jungkook's hand back. Namjoon and Jin snicker at this, shaking their heads slightly. "Yoongi-Hyung, will you go with me?" Jimin pouts, flashing puppy eyes. "Sure," Yoongi agrees, earning an enthusiastic squeal from Jimin. "Taeeee!" Hoseok cheers. "Hobiiii!" Taehyung yells back.

"Alright, just stick together and avoid sasaengs, fansites, and anyone with a camera mostly," Jin laughs. "Got it Hyung! Let's go Y/N!" Jungkook yells as he runs off, dragging the make-up artist with him. "Kook!" Y/N whisper yells, catching the boy's attention. "What?" He asks, confused. "Your mask!" She reminds. "Oh, crap," he laughs, slipping it on. "Thanks Noona," He smiles as he bows lightly. "No problem," Y/N chuckles. "You don't have a mask though," JK points out. "Yeah, but I think I'll be ok," Y/N assures. "I wouldn't be too sure, sasaengs probably memorized your face outside yesterday," Jeongguk tells her worriedly. "Um, maybe the gift shop has something?" Y/N proposes. "Let's go check, I don't want you hurt by crazy fans," Jungkook agrees, leading the way.

Luckily, the gift shop had baseball hats and face masks, so Y/N grabbed them, heading to the register. "Your card please," The cashier requests after scanning the items. Y/N reaches into her bag to pull out her wallet when suddenly Jungkook hands the cashier his card. Y/N, not wanting to say anything in front of the tired worker, simply does a light glare a Jungkook. "Here you are, have a nice day," the cashier says plainly, handing them the items and the card. "Kookie, you don't have to buy stuff for me, I have a job," Y/N reminds him. "I know, I just like helping out my Noona," the boy does a signature bunny grin, instantly clearing Y/N's slight annoyance. "Thanks, Kook," Y/N smiles, the boy nodding in response.

"Sooo, could I convince you to ride a roller coaster with me?" Jungkook smiles. "Let me warm up with something easy, then sure I guess," Y/N submits. "Yay!" JK cheers, leading Y/N to the ride with spinning swings. "Is this one ok?" He asks, standing near the line entrance. "Yeah, I love this one," Y/N agrees, following Jungkook into the line. The two get on the next time, the line moving quickly.

"That was fun!" Y/N exclaims, grinning. "Still willing to ride a roller coaster?" Jungkook checks, not wanting to pressure her too much. "I guess I'll try," Y/N chuckles nervously. "You don't have to if you don't want to," Jungkook murmurs. "It's fine, I'll have you to cling to," Y/N jokes. "That's fine by me," Jungkook laughs, taking Y/N's hand before starting towards the coaster. Y/N gasps after seeing the ride; it has two loops and at least three corkscrews. "Kookie?" Y/N squeaks sheepishly. "You ok?" He asks, looking into Y/N's eyes. "This looks terrifying," she mumbles. "Hey, you'll be fine, I'll make sure," Jungkook reassures. Y/N looks at him skeptically, latching onto his arm for comfort.

"The middle is the least-scary section to ride in, so we'll go for that," Jungkook promises the woman who's still clinging to his arm like a koala. Jungkook looks down at Y/N, noticing how she's on the brink of tears. "Hey, hey, you don't have to ride it," he comforts. "I-it's fine, my anxiety just needs to l-leave me alone," Y/N stammers. Jungkook pulls her into a quick comforting hug, whispering encouragement to her. The two move up in the line, eventually reaching the point where they choose a cart. Luckily, the middle carts aren't too packed, the adrenaline junkies preferring the front or back. "It's not too late to turn around if you want," Jungkook reminds Y/N. "I know, but I wanna get it over with," she laughs, although the Maknae notices the slight tears in her eyes.

A minute later, Y/N's torture is finally there, and her and Jungkook get into their seats, a worker buckling their seatbelts and pulling down the shoulder bars. "Have fun!" The worker giggles as they move to the next cart. "You ok Noona?" Jungkook checks. "No, but it's cool," she chokes out, Jungkook torn between laughing and pity. "Alright riders, have a good time!" The worker cheers over the intercom. A few seconds later, the ride sets off, along with Y/N's screams of pure terror. "OH SWEET GOD OH SHIT!" She yells as the ride go through the first loop. Jungkook cracks up, the woman's vulgar yells being very amusing. Jungkook reaches over and grabs her hand, immediately having his squished in Y/N's attempt to calm herself. As the ride goes on, Y/N eventually stops yelling, instead choosing to wallow in terror quietly.

Eventually, the ride finally ends, and Y/N is gasping for air. "It wasn't too bad was it?" Jungkook jokes. "It was horrible," the woman spits out with no emotion. The restraints are removed, and Jungkook and Y/N step off of the ride. Y/N stumbles, her shaky legs not helping her attempts to walk. "Can you walk?" Jungkook questions, noticing her struggle to stay upright. "I think so," the woman nods... and immediately after she's falling into Jungkook. The man laughs and steadies her, supporting most of her weight. "Hey, just hop on my back," Jungkook suggests, crouching down. "Ok," Y/N submits, climbing onto the Maknae. "Let's go see our photo," Jungkook decides, walking over to the photo stand. After locating theirs, Jungkook breaks down into laughter. "Noona! Look at your face!" The man teases. Y/N spots their picture, laughter overtaking her as she spies her face of pure terror and regret. "I need this," Jungkook chuckles, pulling out his wallet. He hands the worker his card, pointing out their photo number. A minute later, the worker hands back an envelope of the picture, with the link of where to download it printed on the bottom. Jungkook and Y/N laugh at the picture as they head away from the ride.

After a short walk, Jungkook sets Y/N down on a bench at the foodcourt. "Want any food?" He asks, looking around. "Ice cream," Y/N laughs. "Just what I was thinking," Jungkook chuckles, heading over to the stand. A minute later, he returns with two cones of cookies and cream. "Thanks!" Y/N says as she bows lightly, taking the cone. "I hope you're ok with that flavor, it's my favorite," Jungkook apologizes. "I love it, definitely my favorite too," Y/N smiles, pulling down her mask and licking the treat.

"Your photo from that ride is my favorite thing ever," Jungkook laughs as he pulls the picture up on his phone. "Please send that to me," Y/N giggles. "Of course," Jungkook nods, freezing after a second. "Noona, I don't have your phone number," he laughs after realizing their mistake. "Oh, crap, sorry," Y/N laughs. "Wait, here," Jungkook says, handing the woman his phone, "Just make a contact for yourself." Y/N nods, entering her info into her new contact. "Thanks," Jungkook bows lightly once Y/N hands him his phone back. "You better not make that roller coaster picture my contact photo," Y/N jokingly threatens. "Damn, I was just about to," Jungkook laughs. "Knew it," Y/N chuckles as she eats more of her ice cream, looking around the food court.

Jungkook takes the opportunity of her looking around to take a sneaky picture of her, getting away with it without a hitch. "Cute," Jeongguk smiles to himself, setting the photo as Y/N's contact. "Wait what," Jungkook questions himself, shocked that his heart fluttered looking at the picture. "No, I only like her as a friend," Jungkook assures himself, "Definitely just platonic."

Jungkook is snapped out of his thoughts by Y/N saying his name. "What? Sorry, I zoned out," JK apologizes. "It's fine," Y/N laughs, "anyways, I was wondering if you wanted to go on the ferris wheel to watch the sunset," the make-up artist proposes. "That sounds awesome," Jungkook nods. "I'm ready to go when you are," Y/N tells him, finishing off her ice cream. Jungkook licks the rest of his quickly, wiping his mouth off with a napkin, "I'm ready, let's go!" He nods with a smile.
