Hyuntae's pov
A few weeks after Mino and Jaewon warned me about Taeyang I couldn't stop thinking about their words. It was difficult seeing him as a friend only but from what he told me about his Youngbin guy it's obvious that he likes him back so I managed to move on. I genuinely want to help him to be happy.
Taeyang is too oblivious sometimes I really wonder how he still hasn't realised Youngbin liked him and on top of that is jealous of me. When I tell him he gets flustered and tells me not to get his hopes up but that's the simple truth.
The only thing that will make Youngbin's mind click is Taeyang pretending to date me. I'm sure he'll get so jealous he won't be able to handle it. I don't hate that Youngbin guy, I never met him, I'm sure he's a nice guy but let's say he's a bit dense. I talked about it with Mino and he said that it was a good idea and he would have thought about if he wasn't already dating.
I texted Taeyang to come over whenever he can, he told me he was having lunch with Seungyoon, Jinwoo and Seunghoon hyungs. Taeyang is very shy and even if he was seeing them often he wasn't daring to make a friendship move even though they have said that they wanted to be closer to him. I'm glad.
An hour and a half later someone is heavily knocking on my door, it must be him. As soon as I open the door he rushes to the kitchen and pours himself water which means he was so excited that he took the stairs. I mentally laughed at him and waited for him to finish drinking.
- Listen I figured your Youngbin boy out, as I told you I'm 100% sure he likes you but he needs a boost to admit it. We'll give him this boost and make him jealous, let's fake date
He let out a gasp.
- You're crazy
- Listen I'm 100% sure he will get mad and end up realising his feelings. Let's try for a month, if there are no results we'll cut it out and I'll admit that you were right, but I'm sure there would be results the minute you announce it to your members
- Okay let's try but I don't understand why you're being so confident about this plan
TAEYANG ARE YOU BLIND ????
- You'll see. What are you waiting for ? Get the fuck out of my house and go make your man jealous, I said making him giggle at my faux authoritarian tone
- Wait shouldn't we like um kiss ? If you meet my members one day we'll have to and since we're not actually dating it'll be awkward and they might suspect something, he pointed out blushing
- You're being smart for once, I replied making him playfully punch me
I took a step forward and leaned in to peck his lips. I chuckled at his reaction, his face was red.
- Hyung be serious, he pouted
- Okay okay
His hands caught me gently behind the neck as I pressed my mouth to his, softly but firmly. Then I moved one arm around his waist and pulled him closer to me. The kiss is lasting longer than it should but it was nice, we pulled away when we started getting out of breath.
- I guess that will do, Binnie is going to eat that shit up
- Binnie ?
- Are you jealous ? Don't worry I won't steal him
He chuckled.
- Anyway thank you for trying to help me, he said as I was following him to the door
- No problem, let me know their reactions
- Don't worry, bye
He opened the door and left. I closed it as I bid him goodbye
Taeyang's pov
I'm walking home. Hyuntae hyung's plan has to work, I'm tired of pining over Youngbin without being able to call him my boyfriend. If it does I will forever be grateful to him. Shit I need to warn Hwi because if he gets surprised as I announce it the others will smell something fishy. I take out my phone and dial Hwi's number, he answers right away
- What do you want ? he said in a fakely annoyed tone
- What a great way to greet your bff ! -I reply laughing- I'm on the way and I need to tell you something really important. Just make sure you're alone in a room
- I'm alone in our room, what's up ?
- Well Hyuntae hyung asked me if I wanted to fake date to make Youngbin hyung jealous and I agreed, I'm telling you this because the members would have found it weird if you didn't already know
- YEESSSS Hyuntae hyung is a genius, Youngbin will finally understand what he feels for you
- So you're on his side ? He said that we should try for a month but he's confident that Youngbin will show a reaction as soon as I announce it

We ended the call. If my best friend and Hyuntae hyung share the same point of view something might be wrong with me. I'm entering the dorm, they're mostly all in the living room watching tv -they didn't even hear me- while Zuho hyung and Chani are in the kitchen and Hwi in his room. I take off my shoes and my jacket. ZuNi look at me with wide eyes as I get in the kitchen, do I have something on my face ?
- I have something very important to tell you all, can y'all go to the living room while I go get Hwi ?
They nod and go to the living room. I enter my room and see Hwi playing games on his phone. His eyes widen as he looks up at me. What the fuck ?
- What do I have ?!
- Your lips are so red and swollen, even a blind person could see that you've been making out
I blush, I didn't realise we kissed that much.
- Yeah we kissed so that it comes off as natural if we kiss in front of you guys but that's not the point come on they're waiting for us
ZuNi may have told the others I had something to say because the tv was turned off and the other members all had serious faces as we entered the living room. They were all sitting on the sofa or on the floor, Hwi went to sit on his boyfriend's lap. I stood in front of them and took a deep breath before saying
