I thought back to when the war first started.My birthday had recently passed, and my parents got me a plasma shield.(don't make fun of me-plasma shields were patented way back,9 years ago in 2015.)I was walking back home, when all the sirens went off and Logan screams "NUKE!!!"I was carrying the plasma shield I had gotten for my birthday,making sure I knew how to use it in case of disaster.I look over where the nuke was falling.I thought some cuss words.Holding the plasma shield,I broke into a sprint.I unknowingly hit the button on the object and,just as the blast caught up to me it activated.afterward,the shield was fried.Logan was able to outrun the blast, I didn't really see it falling until he screamed nuke.Then I ran.The shield worked like it was supposed to. (plasma shields were still kinda in a beta test phase,they weren't guaranteed to work.Thank God mine worked.)Then I got my leg mangled,almost got crushed by debris,got my leg mangled again, almost got shot a few times,got my leg mangled AGAIN,a gash from a mutant attack, and now we're stuck inside a concrete dome.
