Readers POV
Getting into the car, I buckle up and turn to Sam, " Now Sam I know those boys shouldn't have said thing like that but next time don't put anybody in the hospital, okay?"
"Okay, mom" she replied with some hidden guilt in her voice.
"Now here's you a cup of tea and their muffins in a bag back there." I said with a sigh.
"You know I remember when I first found you, on the sidewalk covered in cuts and bruises, but now your doing great in school and hurting others."I turn the keys and start driving. "I really hope that this is your first and last time doing this."
Looking to the mirror see Sam with her head down eating what I had brought her.
Soon after we arrived home, and Sam exits the car. ' I hope mom feels like watching her while I'm in school, or I'll have to get a nanny and I don't exactly trust them much.' I thought to myself while watching my child go in, before soon entering the house myself.
