The air conditioner's turned on.

Curtains are drawn.

Lights are off.

Can this get any better? I'm still in my tank-top and shorts, carelessly laying down on the cold bed sheet with a thick layer of fog covering my mind. Work? Who that bitch?

Shifting my position on the bed, I lazily reached out for my blanket, still half asleep. But I couldn't find it, perhaps I kicked it off the bed whilst doing King fu in sleep.

Fuck it, I don't need no blanket. Spreading my legs, I covered up the whole bed all by myself before trying to sleep once again. As time passed, I slowly felt as my blood was freezing. Once again I shifted my position to refrain myself from freezing alive and kept on shifting till I invented some new dance.

Not after long, I started rolling on the bed, honestly, I have enough energy to roll on the bed but I don't have enough energy to pick my blank up from the floor, fun fact.

''OOOWW!!" I shrieked and instantly sat up holding my aching nose which I happened to hit against the wall in the process of rolling. Tears bleared my vision from the stinging pain on my nose. How did I manage to smash my nose so badly?

I slowly got down from the bed and stood in front of the mirror, closely observing my now red nose. Luckily it was still sharp and didn't become flat like I expected it to be. I don't need others to hurt me, I myself am absolutely enough to hurt myself.

Now I need to check the time. I started looking around my bedside table then the dressing table.

Where in the world did that stupid phone go. I continued looking for it and found myself in the washroom, I looked everywhere there and at last glanced at the commode. Wait, am I really expecting to see it in the toilet bowl? I mentally facepalmed at myself and got out of the washroom. There's a clock in the living room but I won't look at it, I need to see the time from my phone in order to digest my food.

''Ahh found it!" Well, I found it at last after hours but wanna know where I found it from?

The front pocket of my shorts.

All of a sudden I'm losing the will to live, I wonder why. Finally, I turned on the phone, fun fact, that's the only thing I can turn on along with fans.

The phone screen flashed 10:00 pm. Okay, I'm on time, I have a meeting at 11 o'clock sharp.

I slowly entered the washroom and did my morning routine. Then heading towards the kitchen I took out a bowl, a spoon and took out a bottle of milk from the refrigerator and my favorite fruit loops from the kitchen cabinet.

I somehow managed to fit all those in my arms and finally threw them on the dining table.

You see how people fight with each other about which to put in first, the cereal or the milk, well I'm not a toe sucker like them. What I do is put both of them in together, the milk with one hand and the cereal with the other, simple. Big brain, I know, mention not. That's why my colleagues can never pull me in their stupid fights about it.

But from someplace I read that you could even eat both of them individually and then do a break-dance to mix it, sounded pretty decent to me, but the problem is that I don't know how to break-dance. Lost in my thoughts, I gulped down the food. As soon as the sugar reached my brain cells and my brain started working, my eyes started widening.

10:00 pm? But isn't it morning now. Shouldn't it be am?

Shit, that's when I remembered that yesterday when I was playing 'Happy Mall Story' I was renovating one of the shops into level 2 but it needed 2 hours and 30 mins to complete so, being the snake I am, I just changed the time from the settings because I was too impatient to wait which in turn ended up ruining the whole game. When I got back to the game from the settings, it showed that the shop now needed 2 years and 9 months to finish the renovation. Just because I tried to cheat, I have no idea about how the game understood that I changed the time intentionally, guess they're not that stupid.

I shouldn't have underestimated the game, so that's why I got very sad and forgot to fix the time back. Now that I clearly remember the back story of the time being like that, now the real question is, what is the fucking time?!

I quickly looked at the digital clock hanging on the pastel-colored wall.

11:00 am

Perfect timing, my meeting starts right now....

WAIT!

I'M NOT IN THE OFFICE YET.

Panic got the best of me as I took the bowl of cereal in my hands and put it up in front of my mouth, dumping the liquid in my mouth. There was way too much cereal in the bowl and I had to toil hard to fit it in my mouth but I got up and ran towards my closet anyways.

Putting on an article of pretty formal clothing I raced towards the main door with my phone in one hand while the other was holding the back of my chunky heel, trying to adjust it on my heel.

I basically jumped on one foot all the way to the footpath, scaring some of the passersby and making them run away from me. I sighed as I started searching for an empty taxi, but like of course it's a workday so all of them were occupied.

Finally, when I spotted an empty taxi I immediately started waving my hands towards it but that crappy driver didn't even bother to notice my existence and just simply drove past me.

''Taxi TAXI TÀxÏ!" I shouted louder and louder making a random cry and her mother just shot a death glare at me.

The taxi suddenly stopped where it was and I sighed in relief before running towards it. I quickly slid into the passenger's seat and told the driver the address to my office. The car started moving towards my destination and I rested my head on the seat, exhausted and half-dead, then eventually I closed both of my eyes letting out a deep sigh.

That's why in my bed today, before smashing my nose flat, I was feeling like something was missing, it was very odd that everything was peaceful and calm. Now I know what was missing, this was missing, me running around, getting late, busting my nose, choking on my breakfast, scaring the passersby.

Now I feel normal.

In my life, something has to go wrong.
