falling through a midsummer night
how startling that it came so far
to lend my heart a little light
Your eyes are like the heavens' smile
Replaced the dark with starry skies
how nice that it can last a while
and provide warmth before sunrise
Your eyes are like a morning dream
sparkling with love that's burning there
gently ebbs toward midnight streams
as evening breezes stir the air
Your eyes glow like the buds of spring
gently waking the earth below
so their beauty pull my heartstrings
a sweet delight i'm glad to know
