I turned and saw my mom walk down the steps with jellybean running over to hug me

"Mom? Jellybean?" I said

"It's JB now kid cauroac" she said jokingly as she hugged me

I smiled and with jb around my waist I walked over to my mom "why are you here" I asked

"Nice to see you too" she said "I'm out on business here in Riverdale and I figured I'd come and surprise you and your dad"

"Where is he anyway? Jug" she asked

"Um...he went on a trip with Fred Andrews for the past 4 months and never came back" I said

"Wait so you've been here living by yourself for the past 4 months?" She asked

"Yeah...well there's this girl that I really like and she's been staying at the house" I said referring to Betty

"Well where's the lucky gal? I'd love to meet her" she said

"She's at the Northside!" Sweet pea yelled

"Shut up" I said

"Wait....your dating a Northsider? She said

"Well yeah....their not like they used to be their rea-" I was cut off by my mom

"It's fine I don't care" she said reassuring me

"Jug!" JB said

"Yeah?"

"Where's your hunky friend archie?"

"Hey relax he has a girlfriend"

"Oh" she said sadly

"Juggie!" Betty said running through the doors of the Wyrm

I turned to her as she looked at me confused. I motioned for her to come to me and she did, "Betts, this is my mom and sister, Jellybean"

"Hello, Mrs. Jones I've heard so much about you" she said

"Ohh so this is her" my mom said

"Yeah" I said

Betty smiled, "it's a pleasure, Betty" my mom said

"Hi, you can call me jb" jellybean said

"Well, hello there, JB" Betty said

"Um jug can we talk outside?" Betty asked

"Yeah, uh I'll be back mom" I said

We walked outside to the back of the Wyrm, "what's up?" I asked

"Uh, so" tears started running down her cheek as she said that

"Hey hey, what's wrong" I asked as I cupped her face and wiped her tears with my thumb

"No one was home when I got there and so I called my mom......she said that she sold our house and to move to the farm with her" Betty said as tears ran down her face

"Betty......are..are you ok? You can move in with me" I said

"Jug.... I...I can't now that your mom's ho-" I cut her off, "no Betty it doesn't matter, do you want to move in with me?" I asked

"Jug....of course I would" she said

"But are you sure your mom won't care" she asked

"It doesn't matter it's my house not hers" I said

She smiled and leaned her face in, I connected our lips and I gripped her waist as she pulled away and said "let's go back inside"

"Ok, whatever you want"
