you ask me
with red glazed on your cheeks
do you know what love feels likei reply
yes i dothen tell me
((you say with
stars in your eyes))i begin
((for i have
always wanted to
touch the constellations))it hurts at first because it feels so unfamiliar and unwelcomed. you are a stranger to the roses growing inside your body. the thorns are making your heart bleed but you keep watering them for god knows what reason. b̶e̶c̶a̶u̶s̶e̶ t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶t̶y̶p̶e̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶p̶a̶i̶n̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶h̶e̶a̶r̶t̶ ̶w̶e̶l̶c̶o̶m̶e̶s̶.
slowly you get addicted because you like the way your heart jumps and you like the way your cheeks flush and you like the way you fall in love. it no longer hurts, it becomes like a drug, really. it draws you in and you love it. w̶h̶o̶ ̶k̶n̶e̶w̶ ̶s̶o̶m̶e̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶u̶n̶f̶a̶m̶i̶l̶i̶a̶r̶ ̶c̶o̶u̶l̶d̶ ̶f̶e̶e̶l̶ ̶l̶i̶k̶e̶ ̶h̶o̶m̶e̶.
your silly silly silly heart and the way it hurts and the way it bleeds. y̶o̶u̶ ̶f̶e̶e̶l̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶p̶a̶i̶n̶ ̶b̶u̶t̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶l̶o̶v̶e̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶b̶e̶c̶a̶u̶s̶e̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶h̶e̶a̶r̶t̶s̶ ̶s̶e̶e̶m̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶l̶i̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶e̶v̶e̶r̶y̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶b̶r̶e̶a̶k̶s̶ ̶i̶t̶.̶
