Pov 3rd
Katrina, Gabe, Luke, Michael were all stressed out from everything. They would stay close to each other to prevent anything bad happening. Ms.Lou never noticed how different everyone was acting. Luna soon distances her self from everyone without being noticed. In her room, her true self comes out. A monster no, more like a demon that should never be released. She stopped using her thick accent of a Texas person. The whole vibe of the house felt dark and heavy. Everyone still did their jobs and did the same show once in a while changing it.
Katrina woke up in the middle of the night to hear shuffling in the room. She didn't shift in her position but moved her arm slowly to check if Michael was on the bed. She felt his warm hand hold hers when she found him. This drained out every color from Katrina's face. She moved her hand slowly underneath her bed to find the metal bat she used to use as a child. She finally felt the icy touch of the bat and she brought it up with her. "I'm not going to hurt you. Please put the bat away miss I beg you. You're going to anger him." The light switch on illuminating every crevice in the room. It took Katrina a while to get used to the light when her eyes adjusted she saw the figure that was talking. It was Luna? A million ideas raced into her mind and none lead to a conclusion or an actual verbal expression. She soon got out of the dazed and finally asked, "Why did you call me Miss, Luna?" The person who shared the same face as Luna but was not the same person simply answered, "I'm not Luna miss, I'm Emma. I know who she thought." "Of course you know her. She is you and you are her." She shook her head no. "Get out Luna and stop acting like a child. I don't believe this bullshit that you are 'Emma'." Katrina added quotation marks around the name Emma. Katrina soon got tired of Emma and pushed her out.
Emma was soon put to sleep and the changed into another. Luna woke up to the hard dirt road. She looked everywhere to find where she was. She soon found the circus tent close by. She was trying to get up and soon feel down. She prayed that one of her 'personality people' didn't hurt themselves. She looked over and saw a message "You deserve this" she quickly looked away from her leg. The message still looked new which things made 100 times worse. She ripped off a piece of her shirt to cover the blood covered scar. She soon started to crawl towards the tent having pain shot through her leg. She saw no one up which she was grateful for and went to her room. She went to her bathroom and grabbed towels. She cleaned off the dirt that was clinging on the wound. She mentally cursed in her mind. After a couple of minutes, she finally covered the scar. She went to go to make eggs to eat when she noticed Katrina walking the other way. 'That's funny, ' she thought, 'why did she leave when I came?' Another sour thought came to her. 'It's just you. That's all, get it through your thick skull that no one wants you.' "SHUT UP! That's NOT TRUE! SHE PROBABLY LEFT BECAUSE SHE HAD TO DO SOMETHING." Luna started to get dizzy her vision slowly getting fuzzier and fuzzier.
Pov Katrina
I couldn't stand the sight of Luna so early in the morning. After her little stunt, I felt an eerily vibe from her. I couldn't shake it off so I just decided to go back to my room. "What happened? Are we not going to eat yet?" Michael asked. I walked past him to get his clothes and answered, "We are but... there is umm..." "Is it because of Lun coming in from last night?" I stop in my tracks. I turned around and faced him. I walked in front of him and squatted down to be face to face. "Did you hear what she said?" He shook his head. "Do you believe her?" "Yeah because she sounds a bit different. With a lower pitch and she sounded like she had an accent. I also heard her talk to her self about Ma Lou." I know I shouldn't trust a kid but I had a gut feeling that something may be wrong. Luna was always the odd one out. She always seemed a bit not there when we were together. "What did she talk about, Michael?" I noticed he was fidgeting so I hugged him he hugged me back a few seconds later. I heard him crying so I started to rub his back. "It's not your fault you know. It's just something you heard. Was it something... Bad?" I really wanted him to say no or just change but I never expected something so gruesome and horrifying.
