The day has come it was finally here
The timing of the final bell was so very near
Selina and Reina were dressed to go
What to expect on the last day of school they did not know
They hop on the bus and it vrooms along
And all of the children began to sing a song
The excitement was rising and the children did not want to be late
All of their teachers stood outside to wait
The bus arrived and the children ran in to their class
No body wanted the last day to pass
The school was decorated in glitter and stars
The school had a surprise for the children and it was a trip to Mars
The children were surprised and did not know what to say
Going up to space was not expected on this day
The space shuttle landed and the engines had a thunderous roar
The children were all about to take a lesson on how to soar
The children lined up in a single file line
They carefully read the big red sign
The sign that said get ready for space
It also said don't forget to tie your lace
The children strapped in and were ready to fly
Experience the wonders of the big blue sky
The captain announced that it was now time to explore
The crew were told to close the big red door
Three two one and the ship went rising with all of its might
And suddenly the sky turned dark as if it was night
The children looked out the window and saw millions of stars
And in the distance was the big red planet named Mars
