Jimin doesn't necessarily do as he says, but he does kind of take up his offer and rests his forhead on his chest as he gazes down at their feet.

They dance and sway for a while before Jimin notices something at the corner of his eyes, he raises his head to see if he was right and he was.

It was Jungkook standing next to Yugyeom and some other guy in a sparkly suit standing next to him.

Yugyeom, Jungkook and the guy exchanges a few words before the two leave, leaving Jungkook by himself.

Jimin looks around the room more and sees Hoseok standing in the crowd also, Hyungwon and Taehyung standing near him.

He notices how Taehyung and Hyungwon both shakes their heads, before Taehyung points a finger in another direction.

The dancer follows the direction he pointed, making instant eye contact with Yoongi.

Yoongi is standing with Namjoon and the other male Jimin still didn't know. The blonde looks over at Namjoon after the brief eye contact, says something and then squeezes through the crowd to leave.

This causes him to silently curse under his breath, wanting nothing more but this song to be over already.

But he had to wait it out until a while, the song stopping and the crowd clapping loudly.

"Okay, everyone, the party is over. I hope you all had a great time, thank you for coming." Chanyeol says, and everyone makes a noise of disappointment but starts to head for the door nonetheless.

Jimin goes to squeeze between a few people, but get his hand grabbed by Chanyeol.

"Jimin, did you enjoy your birthday?"

"Yes, I did. Thank you so much for this."

Chanyeol pulls him into a hug, squishing him before stepping back and shyly scratching the back of his head.

"I actually have something I've been meaning to tell you for a while...."

"Channie this isn't the r--"

"Jimin I--"

"Hey, Chim." Taehyung bellows, throwing an arm over his shoulders, purposely disrupting their conversation. "I have to tell you, if you don't mind, Chanyeol."

Said male looks frozen for a second, before he waves a dismissive hand "No, it's cool, go ahead. I can talk to him later. I'll just start cleaning up a bit."

Taehyung drags his best friend away.

"Why did you do that?" Jimin questions lowly, whispering to Taehyung. "I could've just told him then and there that I don't see him that way."

Whispering into his ear, Taehyung speaks "Rejecting him isn't the thing you should be worried about right now." The older shoots him a questioning look, and instead of telling him Taehyung shows him.

He opens the back door where they can hear two people having a conversation, finding Yoongi and Ten talking, laughing and cleaning up the area.

Even though Jimin could feel the jealousy rumbling within him, he couldn't ignore the fact that Yoongi can talk to who he wants to, and he probably has no reason to be jealous about "What? People can talk."
