As I had promised, I walked up to the park's forest the very next day.It was still very snowy, and it must've been snowing yesterday night, because the white, silky blanket of snow, was now up to my hips.

The more I walked towards the centre of the forest, I took off more clothing.

I didn't want to feel warm; that was for summer.

In the end I was left with 2 bare hands, a beanie hanging of the side of my head, a thin brown  jacket, brown leggings with a little skirt over it, and my brown ugg boots. And obviously underwear. Im not that hot.

I let out a happy sigh at how free my muscles felt, from all the layers of clothing. If my mum knew she would kill me.Just like Noah ,it took mum absolutely forever to heal me from a cold as well. What can I say? Im a skinny girl and vitamins are something I dont have a huge supply of.

When I had reached the very top, Noah was nowhere to be seen.

Maybe I came a bit too early?

With my art supplies in hand, I stomped
(the snow was very hard to get across as a 6 year old)
over to were the trunk of the huge tree was, and set out my easel, put up a clean canvas, and waited.

And waited.

He probably thought I was a weirdo like all my other "friends".

I mean I dont blame him . I am weird.Like who takes off their clothes because they like the feeling of being numb?

I waited for Noah a bit more.

I ended up getting bored and drawing another painting of the big oak tree.

Just as I was about to plop on my dark brown on the palate, Noah appeared right beside me, breathless.

I smiled a little to widely.

He wasn't like the others who left me hanging.

"S-sorry Faith, my mother didnt want to go to the forest today so I had to beg her,"Noah said, mittened hands on knees. He looked at me with his glossy blue eyes.

I dont think any of the shades of blue I have will ever match his eyes.

"But she was ecstatic when she saw the painting you had created."

"Ecstatic? What?"

"Nevermind,"Noah smiled.

After Noah had gathered his breath, he took off the scarf around his neck.I saw just how blue his lips were. Do my lips look like that right now?

"Faith you're freezing," he wrapped the scarf around my own neck, covering up my mouth.

We were around the same height so it wasnt difficult for him.Noah smiled, before directing his attention to my canvas.

"Its sooo huge. How do you reach it?" He asked, curiosity in his eyes.

I pointed at the easels leg.
"I can adjust it to be my size."

I showed him how to do it.He looked at it as if I told him I discovered a new animal species.

After I finished, Noah looked extremely excited.

"What is it Noah?"I asked. He looked at my eyes.

"Can we paint something together If you don't mind?" Noah asked enthusiastically.

I giggled underneath his scarf. It smelled like shampoo, and ashes.I inhaled.

"Of course we can . I'll teach you," Noah nodded, a smile hanging from one ear to another.
