When he heard of all the things she did. He felt... excited. He could use her skills and the love the people had for her to his advantage.

He quickly ordered his men to help spread more good rumors about her. He wanted people to think that she was a beautiful celestial maiden who was sent to help them survive.

Some lands quickly surrendered to him. Maybe it was because they knew they couldn't win or because they wanted to have access to the clinics. Either way, he was the one winning.

Finally, he met her in person. He never met someone so fair his entire life. He was an emperor since young. All of his life women threw themselves at him. Not plain women but beautiful women. Yet she was different.

She was respectful, dignified, and beautiful. She didn't even go out of her way to get his attention like most do.

The reason he went to her bedroom was because of a fit of anger and he was just planning to sleep there. But, she was attentive and elegant towards him, not to mention that her figure was exquisite. He couldn't help himself and decided to have her serve him. Her figure was much better than the empress anyway.

Although, he planned to only have sex when he married his wife. After what happened, there was no way in hell that he was ever gonna sleep with that woman.

Not to mention, Sang Yunxie was not any woman, but the first woman he married. The one who helped his people. The one who ruled an empire for three years.

Although he didn't love her and the reason he went to her was because of anger, she was still the most suitable woman for him.

When he held her, he felt an indescribable pleasure. The way her body moved against him was amazing.

They were total strangers, but their chemistry was simply incredible.

At the end she was the one who fell asleep first and he couldn't help but admire her. Her skin was tainted with kisses that he planted, her body was exhausted because of him, and she was resting on him.

He fell asleep while looking at her and smelling her scent, which was sweeter honey.

The next morning, he woke up hugging her. He didn't want to wake her up so, he silently got out of bed. Unfortunately, she noticed and looked at him with cute, drowsy eyes.

Her figure was only half covered so, he was able to see her smooth, long, white legs. Making his desire rise again.

He told her to rest since he knew she was going to be in pain. But, she didn't listen.

Fortunately, after a talk, he got her to stay in bed.

Yet, he was still worried. She acted like she was fine, but he'd bet his fortune on the fact that she wasn't.

"Are you okay?" He asked with a helpless expression.

"Your highness, Chenqie's fine. She's just a little worried about how you're gonna explain this to the court," she explained.

"Explain what?" He asked.

"How instead of consummating your marriage with the empress, you stayed here," she said, worried.

With cold eyes, he asked, "Why should zhen explain himself to them?"

If you don't have a smart friend, make friends with the smart student in your class. Or seat really close to that person. BUT REMEMBER! Only use this method only in extreme circumstances.
