so sumn of yall have long distance caregivers (i used to think 'gee, i dont understand how people care for people theyve never even met (as in ld)' but now that i have my mommy, i understands!

so a few tips ive picked up from my other little friends with long distance relationships:

-call your caregiver! face to screen face is a lot more reassuring than just texting (unless one or the other isnt comfortable with facetime, make sure you still get lots of pictures of the cute little or the loving caregiver!)

-tell the little what you would do if you were there, makes them more excited than anything :)

-talk to the little as if they were a baby (example: 'does pumpkin wanna tell daddy/mommy how their day was?'), and littles, talk to your caregiver as if they were an authority! (example: ive been a good girl/boy, daddy/mommy!)

-make sure you praise the little! they cant rely on physical contact, so make sure you reassure them

-have the caregiver name a stuffie! so when the little wants the stuffie, they want it because the caregiver named it and 'took care' of it first :)
