Andy

"Broo-ook." I whine, tugging at Brooklyn's backpack, in hopes to get him to stop kissing Jack. "We have to get going or we'll be late for class again." Don't get me wrong, I am so happy that my best mate is happy but love-y dove-y Brook is never on time. Brooklyn and Jack had gotten together by the end of last year, but Jack moved to England from Ireland at the start of the school year. Brooklyn had fallen for the mental Irish lad right away, but Jack had needed some more time. Though the three of us did become the best of friends within a week of Jack's arrival. Through the months of sleepovers, joking around and just being around Brooklyn Jack had one night admitted to me how much he liked Brooklyn and from there on it's basically history.
"

Fovvs is right, you can't afford many more detentions." Jack agrees with me. He always does, that's why I like him so much.
I smirk, "Thanks Duff" and start pulling a pouty Brooklyn to our classroom.

"I hate math." Brooklyn complains, "Would rather just skip and kiss Jack in the coaches office."
"Of course you would." I laugh.

There's three sets of two tables in the back of the room, Brook and I always sit down in the middle row, it always depends who's sitting by the window but already in his usual spot by the wall is Rye Beaumont. I don't really like Rye and his inferiority complex. Rye always walks around like he owns the hallways and barely ever speaks, it's weird and I really don't understand why he's popular. Sure he's good looking, but he's also a massive dick. When he does speak it mostly curse words or insults.

"Good morning class, open your books on page 198" Mister Camden, our math teacher, says as she walks into the classroom. I reluctantly open my books, here goes nothing.

I spent all of my chemistry class scrolling through Instagram, I understand chemistry well enough to pass without paying to much attention. Which is a big plus, because it really doesn't interest me and I don't really have anyone to talk to in this class, Jack and Brooklyn have chemistry together tomorrow and everyone else I talk to is either in their class or doesn't even take the subject. The only person I even remotely know is George Smith, we do our experiments together, but other than that we don't really talk.

After third period we have break, which is great because I am starving. When I walk into the cafeteria Brooklyn is already there, chewing away. "How was music?" He asks me, pieces of bread falling out of his mouth.
"It was good, got to teach the other how to play a couple of cords on the guitar." I tell him proudly, I love music, it's my passion. So getting the chance to pass that on to others is always great.
"Show off." Brooklyn huffs, making me laugh. "What the fuck?"
I follow his gaze to find Jack approaching our table with Harvey Cantwell by his side. Harvey is a cool kid, but he's also one of the popular kids, he always says hi to everyone, but never eats lunch with anyone other than his own friends.
"Hey?" Brooklyn questions, looking between Jack and Harvey.
Harvey smiles widely at the both of us, "Hey, I hope you don't mind but Rye's mad at me, I didn't feel like siting with him and Jack said it was cool if I'd sit with you guys."
Brooklyn smiles, "Of course!" He says happily.
I however, with my big stupid mouth, can't help but let "That's dumb of Rye, you're the only one that actually likes him as a person and not just as an object of lust or because he's popular" slip out of my mouth. "I am sorry." I apologize right away.
"It's cool." Harvey smiles, before chatting away with Brooklyn.

"Fovvs, what was that for?!" Jack slaps me in the chest as we walk out of the cafeteria. "That's his fucking best friend you were talking about."
"M sorry." I mumble, "Just slipped out."
Jack sighs, "I know, but imagine if someone said something like that about Brook."
I get where Jack's coming from, but it's not like anyone would ever say something like that about Brooklyn. Everybody loves him.
"Oh and Andy?"
"Mmh."
"You're right, Rye is a dick, but you don't have to point it out every chance you get." And with that we part ways.
