♛Chptr. 15 || ☆☆ Break Away ☆☆♛

"Please hurry up, we don't know for how long Jin-hyung would be outside." Taehyung warned as he gave Jimin the ID badge to unlock Jungkook's cell before he waited outside with Hoseok. They weren't really allowed to go inside the area where Jungkook's cell was but Taehyung just broke that rule.

Jungkook was already there on the front of his cell grasping onto the metal bars watching Jimin with a smile on his face. Jimin smiled back to him as he busied himself in entering the passcode Taehyung gave to him together with the ID badge. 

Hoseok and Taehyung were on the lookout outside. Taehyung was biting his fingernails as he was tapping his feet continuously. He had helped Jungkook escape before but that was the problem. Jin didn't know that it was him that time but now that he was doing it again, he couldn't help but be nervous this time since the chance of getting caught was higher with the security on the outside doubled from before. It was even hard to get Hoseok and Jimin to get in.

Hoseok saw the uneasiness in Taehyung's features so he tried to comfort the latter by patting him on the back even though he doesn't know Taehyung. Taehyung looked at the older with worry still evident in his expression.

"You don't have to continue working here, you know?... I could see that this isn't something that you want to be doing for the rest of your life." Hoseok told sincerely as Taehyung stiffened. 

Taehyung hung his head low biting his lower lip. Tears started running down his cheeks as he wiped it with the back of his hands.

"I dreamed of working under Dr. Kim before. I really really wanted to be one of his students because of his achievements but... after I managed to get here with my years of hard work I regretted everything... He... He's not even a little close to whatever great things I heard of him..." Taehyung said between his tears.

Hoseok turned sad by hearing this. He soon walked closer to Taehyung as he hugged the latter carefully whilst he continued rubbing the younger's back. 

"Shh... it's okay. It's not too late to get out of here. You should come with us." Taehyung pulled away with hopeful eyes.

"R-Really?" Hoseok smiled seeing Taehyung's nose moving as he sniffed. He booped Taehyung's nose with a chuckle.

"I don't see any reason why you can't." It warmed Taehyung's heart so he finally gave a small smile to the older.

"You are very nice, um..." He watched the back of his head, realizing that he still doesn't know anything about the older.

"Hoseok. Jung Hoseok." Hoseok completed Taehyung's sentence with a smile. 

Jimin finally unlocked Jungkook's cell and he stumbled back as Jungkook immediately engulfed him with a bone-crushing hug. He wrapped his arms around Jungkook's waist as he buried his face on Jungkook's shoulder, smelling Jungkook's natural lavender smell that always calms him down.

Jungkook dug his head deeper on Jimin's neck, his nose nuzzling on the crook of the shorter's skin as he circled his arms around Jimin's tiny frame. He keeps on chanting Jimin's name softly, kissing Jimin's neck warmly after.

"Jungkook, we need to get you out of here, okay?... I'll get you out." Jimin said in their hug as he pulled away, cupping Jungkook's cheeks as he smiled warmly. 

Jungkook looked at his lover with his innocent looking eyes that were brightly twinkling once again. He smiled at Jimin as he rested his forehead on his owner. He nodded as he closed his eyes trusting Jimin. He knew that everything will be fine now that they were together once again.

Taehyung managed to guide the three out of Jungkook's cell room. They were all disguised and were carefully walking their way out so no one would suspect any suspicious acts. 

Every time Taehyung would be greeted by his co-workers they couldn't help but gulp but Taehyung made sure to keep the greetings as short as he can since they have more important things to do right now.

They are already in the front gate as they managed to get out of the building safely but when Taehyung was just about to press his ID badge to grant access for getting out, a loud siren echoed in the whole place making the scientist's eyes widen.

"I knew it... it was you after all." A voice from behind them interrupted their escape, the booming sound of the siren still breaking the silence in the whole area as footsteps were heard near them.

The four turned around seeing Seokjin with the guards and the other scientists that he was with the day they took Jungkook. 

Seokjin was smirking as he stared at the four, thinking that they are stupid for even thinking that they can get out without getting caught. Then his eyes landed on Taehyung whose eyes and body began quivering.

"Doctor K-Kim, I--"

"Shut your fucking mouth, Taehyung." The doctor spat with his tone of voice vicious. "You were the one who helped Jungkook before, weren't you?" Seokjin chuckled in sinister, his glares not leaving Taehyung.

Taehyung looked at his other hyungs who helped him get Jungkook out that time. Namjoon and Yoongi were still beside Seokjin and the moment they saw Taehyung's pleading eyes all they could do was look away sadly. 

"Yoongi-hyung, Namjoon-hyung... don't do this please... you both know that you don't want to be here anymore too." Taehyung tried to coax the other two but Yoongi and Namjoon were afraid to look at him.

Seokjin laughed at this.

"You are a disgrace to our institution Kim Taehyung. And for a clear note, I want you out after we settled this. You are not stepping in this lab ever again and you would no longer work for me." Seokjin stated and Taehyung's chest tightened. 

Hoseok stepped forward, hiding Taehyung behind his back as he hold the younger's hand with him. He glared back at Seokjin. 

"He would gladly leave this place so don't you ever dare say that he's a disgrace because you are clearly the pathetic one here." Hoseok spat making Taehyung and Seokjin taken aback.

The doctor was offended but he soon scoffed and signaled the guards to take Jungkook and brought him back to the cell. Jungkook began snarling and growling, his claws were back and so were his dark eyes. The guards stepped back immediately afraid to do another action.

Seokjin smirked seeing Jungkook trying to protect the three but he knew he could easily control the younger. He fished out the whistle from his lab gown's pocket and he blew it making Jungkook instantly kneel on the ground screaming in pain. He held onto his head that began throbbing immediately from the sound he was hearing.

The guards finally moved and they captured Jungkook easily since the whistling that only Jungkook could hear was torturing him. 

"DON'T TOUCH HIM!" Jimin shouted when he walked towards Jungkook's figure that was getting dragged by the guards. Jungkook heard Jimin and he grunted to fight the pain in his ears and head but before Jimin could even run towards him he was grabbed by the other guards. Taehyung and Hoseok were about to help too but they were held captive as well.

"JUNGKOOK! NO, DON'T TOUCH ME! LEAVE HIM ALONE!!!" Jimin screamed as he wriggled fiercely from the hold of the guards on him.

"You son of a bitch! Why don't you tell them why you keep on doing this?!" Jimin shouted enough for Seokjin to halt and had his eyes widened, the whistle was now pulled out from his lips. 

Jungkook huffed in tiredness, his body started falling limp with his head feeling light because of dizziness. 

Jimin saw how Seokjin stopped so he continued. "What?! Are you scared that they would find out that this is all about your family?! You don't even know if Jungkook's kind were the ones who killed them!" Seokjin's grip on his whistle tightened and he was glaring at Jimin dead in the eyes.

"Doctor... what is this all about?" Namjoon asked confused, not knowing what Jimin was talking about. Yoongi and Taehyung were just as confused as him.

"You don't know anything..." The doctor told coldly.
