A cloaked figure holding an upside-down sword;
a grave before a crowd, which surrounds;
the cross is slanted, wooden, worn;
it sticks up from the mud like an omen,
as if a crow cawed on a dead branch above;
a darkness in the flattened clouds;
a crimson pool spreads across the sky;
the words from this prophet's mouth;
they frighten and terrify;
and a riot ensues;
where once was of placid kind.
