there is a monster deep in the darkness.
a creature made of havoc and sadness.
it lives two lives in one harsh world -
the favor of flowers and the lighter of matches.
without guilt + without remorse,
it sets the Heavens astir and the demons warmer.
but a good day doesn't come rarely
(of twitched lips and sunny blue eyes,
it makes the tulips bloom and die).
grass greens and monsters hide, seeing angels smile.
there is a monster deep in the darkness,
caught between their demon and angelic sides.
