Chapter 10: I will end you where you stand

Chara's POV

No one was in the lab. But I know that he's here.

As I walked, a strange yellow shining caught my eyes. A weird yellow star floating near me. I touched it

Lab- SAVED.

Uhh, what does that mean?

Anyway, I don't have time to think about this. I have to find that murderer.

Chara: DON'T YOU TELL ME YOU'RE AFRAID. YOU KNOW WHAT?

I could feel something hot falling on my cheeks, I touched it, it wasn't a normal tear, it was a black tear, and there were falling more and more.

There was a mirror near me. My eyes were black and red.

Chara: ASRIEL WAS AFRAID TOO.

Even my voice changed!

I heard movements, like snakes' movements.

That ugly murderer.

Gaster: So, you've come for me uh?

Chara: I sure did

Gaster: Well, what are you waiting for? Come! Kill me!

I ran in his direction, but he teleported and...stabbed me with a bone.

Blood started to fall from my mouth, I coughed, and I were losing too much blood...

I'm sorry Asriel...I'm so sorry Frisk...

I won't die...

Why should I die? I won't die until this weirdo dies.

I will get my revenge after all.

I closed my eyes, everything was black, I re-opened them, and found myself near the yellow star.

And I wasn't hurt, what happened?

My eyes were still black. I like this new me.

Gaster came again.

Gaster: Did you feel that? That death sensation.

Chara: Yes I did. And you will feel it too in just a moment.

Gaster: Running again won't stop me ya know?

Chara: You should better be prepared because soon...

I showed him my face

Chara: ...YOUR LAST HOUR STRIKES.

I ran again, but I won't die.

He tried to stab me again with the bone, but I dodged it, I tried to hit him with my knife but failed.

Gaster: Uh, I wonder how will you survive with my Gaster Blasters

I ran and dodged them, but one hit me. I wasn't dying, I still had 14 HP. Lucky me...

It was my turn to attack, but I wasn't sure of what to do. Gaster was really really strong, he could have a LV bigger than mine, my LV is only 1. Damn it...I can't kill him now, but I will try.

I fought and he dodged.

Gaster: I know what are you thinking you know? You're thinking "I can't defeat him right now" and that's right. Killing me won't bring him back you know?

Chara: SHUT UP!

I dodged his attacks again

Gaster: I will dodge your attacks too. It's useless staying here. I can't kill you, and you can't kill me.

Chara: *evil laugh*

I closed my eyes and re-opened

Chara: DON'T TELL ME YOU'RE TIRED OR AFRAID OF ME.

Gaster: He is dead right now, you know?

My strenght on the knife weakened.

I felt my face turning normal...

Chara: No...YOU'RE ONLY SAYING THIS FOR DEFEAT ME!

Gaster: I know that...

Then I heard a strange noise...like teleporting...but Gaster was still there where he was.

A bone hit him on the head, which made him faint.

Sans and Frisk appeared from the dark.

Frisk: Chara...OH MY GOD YOU'RE HURT!

I noticed only now that I was bleeding...ahh right, that Gaster Blaster...

Chara: Oh, it's nothing...

Sans was about to hit me too but Frisk stopped him

Chara: WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?

Sans: First of all, you were fighting my dad, second, we have to take you back to the castle

Frisk: ...you won't like it...

Chara: W-what h-happened?

Frisk: Asriel is awake, but...

A tear fell down by her cheek

Frisk: He's dying...
